Ordered our food 15-20 mins before my son got there, he was waiting over 5 mins at the speaker and nobody ever said anything. I told him to go to the windows, he asked for the order and they told him to pull up to the door that they would bring out the food. My son waited almost 40 mins!!!!! He had to remind them he was there!!! I had to call the store to let them manager know my son was still outside waiting for our food. It’s always something at this Popeyes, how are they still in business with this type of service??!

Visited during Mardi Gras and ordered 2 family boxes of chicken . Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff was attentive and although they were extremely busy, my order was packed correctly. Kudos to the entire crew!!!!

Elizabeth was very helpful even being slammed with business, she took her time to figure out the problem even through the high stress situations. The manager on shift was very hands on and and communicative with the crew members to make sure the orders got out in a timely manner.

I was in this Popeyes on William Blvd Saturday. I felt so humiliated. Only me and my daughter were in the store. Asked the young lady if chicken was frying because we like it straight out the grease. She said five minutes on chicken, we said okay we will wait on it. Okay paid and gotten the drink and all. Mind you I don’t want to place the race card in it but that’s how I felt. No blacks working in the store. Some other people came behind us and gotten the hot chicken that we were waiting on. Gave us the cold chicken that was setting up there. Instead of the manager trying to make it right he study trying convince us that chicken was hot. We are chicken eating people and know when it’s fresh. I clearly ask for a refund. The young lady who gave us the chicken said it wasn’t the hot chicken. Just gave all the hot chicken to the people came behind us.. Poor management and racism is not the key. He nevertheless tried to satisfy us as customers. He didn’t even care just gave us a refund. You are not going to take my money and give me anything like I’m stupid. How did the white peoples behind us get 14 pieces and we only had 6 pieces ahead of them?

I just left the drive thru and had the WORST customer service ever. First off the girl with red hair in the drive thru had a NASTY attitude. I told her to please make sure my sauces and napkins were in the bag and they forgot them. Then I was told to pull up because I was waiting on chicken I asked how long and she said 7 minutes with an attitude. I then pulled up and waited 20 minutes which is ridiculous. When i finally got my food she rolled her eyes at me. EVERY TIME I come it’s something with the workers.

We ordered a three piece chicken tender combo with honey BBQ sauce and red beans as well as a spicy chicken combo with red beans. I had to ask for cups and spoons as we were given none with our meal, my order was wrong, which they did correct then I was given the wrong sauce. The side of red beans was 1/2 full and mostly rice. Another customer had the same issue but the manager refused to correct the problem. The food was hot and tasty but the service and atmosphere ruined our dining experience.

EVERY . SINGLE. TIME . we order from this Popeye’s, our order is always missing something or they get things wrong. This has been our third experience with this place.
We brought up our messed up order we got tonight and all the doors were locked and no-one inside would acknowledge us, even though there were plenty of people eating in the dine-in area. We got up there around 9:50 and waited 10 minutes, trying to wave from outside and every single person turned their heads to us.
So, now we have a whole messed up order. This place is extremely unprofessional and I will not use this location to order from again. Use the one on Loyola drive instead.

To the lady working the drive thru window today, customer service was amazing she made sure my (fairly large) order was correct to the T. Repeated it back and as she handed it to me made sure to repeat it again as she handed it to me, telling me what was in each bag. Got home and everything was perfect! Thank you

On 09/28/2025 , I hate this Popeyes every time I go in there , I have a bad experience. I was told that hot chicken was coming up in five minutes, but I waited 15 minutes. When I noticed it was 15 minutes, I asked the cashier what was going on with the chicken I’ve been waiting on chicken, but as I’m waiting, I see people leaving out with chicken. They waited till all the hot chicken was served to the other culture and gave us cold chicken. So I asked for a manager and he told me that the chicken had just came up and if the chicken had just came up, I wouldn’t have been able to open the chicken with my hands, the chicken was not hot at all. I told the don’t worry about it because he was going back and forward with me and I asked for my money back and instead of him saying ma’am we have more hot chicken coming up, he gave me my money back and nothing else was said, not even sorry.
