The Chilean sea bass and crispy pork belly plates were also very tasty, complex and cooked extremely well! The service and atmosphere were also spot on.
Would definitely come back any day of the week! Ask for Kelly — she was fantastic and so sweet :).
Our food came out fresh, flavorful and, honestly, for $38 bucks the ribeye tasted like it was worth double that, cooked to perfection. You have to try the Bananas’ Foster French Toast…it was addicting. The pancakes were as well. To top it off, we had the Sticky Date Pudding (a very moist cake) with their ice cream and we were in heaven!
The owner was gracious and stopped by to check on us to ensure everything was okay. He also explained their farm to table philosophy which was impressive. This is definitely at the top of our favorites’ list!
For sides, we opted for tater tots, and I’m so glad we took our server’s suggestion to add Parmesan. It was an excellent choice! Each tot was crispy on the outside while remaining moist and soft on the inside — simply delicious.
But the real star of the meal was the Sticky Date Pudding. This house-made treat, butterscotch, vanilla toffee gelato, was probably the best dessert we’ve ever had. It was an unforgettable experience that rounded out the meal perfectly.
The restaurant itself has a minimalist design, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere — ideal for a special occasion. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and would definitely visit again.
Update:
So while we were sitting down eating, she sat two additional tables in the area that we requested, and neither of them had reservations either. I’m not sure what the reason was that she could not accommodate us, but it clearly wasn’t a reservation issue as she previously mentioned. Because of this blatant discrimination, I have now updated my review to be a one star review. This is not a place we will return to until they improve with their customer service, or at the very least to get her out of here.
All the appetizers on the menu sounded delicious and we went with the bone marrow toast. While it tasted like most others we’ve had, the toast with the caramelized onions and the pickled onions added a different taste combination which was pleasant.
My wife got the banh mi, which had excellent meat and good amount of vegetables. I got The Cut burger, which is their 60-day dry aged rib eye patty with 2-year aged white cheddar. This I would definitely say was the star of the meal. Not only could you taste the meat quality, but also the juiciness of the burger was apparent. And yet, I think the best part of the burger might have been the white cheddar. Not only did the cheese enhance the funk of the dry aged burger but if you’re lucky you also got a little bit of the cheese lace from the flat top. It’s not cheap ($40) but well worth its price.
We ended our meal with a delightful sticky date pudding, which was not too sweet and was quite delicious. They do not have their liqueur license yet but given the quality of their mocktails I have a feeling their drinks are going to be high quality. Overall, a very nice restaurant that we will definitely come back for more.
