1. Baguette was served ON TOP of my soup and was inedible because it was soaked in soup.
2. Sandwich was made on 2 pieces of bread FACING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS. Sloppy.

Based on my experience, the Panera staff in Edwardsville always delivers exceptional service and high quality food and drinks within a clean and safe setting. I’ve observed it can be a challenge to maintain responsive and high quality service, within a clean environment given changing customer demands, their nuanced food preferences, unwillingness to cleanup after themselves, and customers just having a bad day, along with normal staffing and supply change challenges. That’s normal for the fast-paced, casual dining business But I’ve always observed the Panera team here consistently demonstrate professionalism, patience, and respect for all, the customer and their staff, while still maintaining healthy boundaries for those rare difficult situations.
Great job and your service is sincerely appreciated.
Have a safe and fulfilling 2026!

Ordered 2 bagel packs online for druve-thru pick up. That’s a total of 26 bagels. When I got home I had 20 bagels. Tomorrow is National Bagel Day which I will be delivering treat bags to hospitals. Now I’m going to have to purchase more because I’m 3 bagel gift bags short. Not pleased, especially when a staff member signed off as being checked.

Went today for lunch and very disappointed to see Panera is no longer offering the value duet options on their menu which appeared to no longer be available as of this week.

Edwardsville location is in need of a refresh particularly the restroom’s which are in very poor shape and condition.

Everything i have ordered has been delicious. Only gripe is coffee is hit or miss. Sometimes stale, old bitter, strong coffee that’s been microwaved or cold coffee. But most of the time it is great. Same with iced tea, sometimes it tastes strange, but then again most of the time it is good. Friendly service every time.

First Panera restaurant ever and eating there was quite fascinating. We did not plan to stop and grab a lunch but since my son needed to use the bathroom it was serendipity that drove us there.
The sandwich that I ordered was very delicious. Their passion papaya green tea was my fave drink there. The place was very comfy.
One thing that I noticed was they did not have any kiddie meal. My son was a very picky eater so most of their meals if not all were his not best option. He ended up eating the chips that came along with their combo meal.
The price was a bit pricey but we did not mind it coz the food was good and healthy.

This Panera is the slowest establishment I’ve ever been to. Spent my whole 30 break waiting for my food in the drive thru and it wasn’t even that busy with one person ahead of me. You should hire staff that can multi task and do their job efficiently

Gave three stars due to waiting 10mins for my order, only for them to tell me they are out of the broccoli soup. The only reason why i came. Now I have to find something else

I’m giving you a generous 1 out of 5 stars. Frankly, your establishment has consistently disappointed me (even after numerous complaints to corporate). The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, and the accuracy of my orders is comically poor.

But the pinnacle of irony is how you claim to be environmentally friendly while frequently running out of regular cups and replacing them with styrofoam. It’s hard to take your eco-friendly claims seriously when you opt for a material that’s terrible for the environment.

Your drive-thru wait times are consistently long, and your overworked employees are a testament to your operational inefficiency and incompetent corporate leadership. Please, Panera, take a good, hard look at your practices, because right now, it’s far from a place I’d recommend.

And here’s a tip for those ordering online: do NOT use the rapid order drive-thru pickup. There is nothing “RAPID” about that pickup experience. You’ll be stuck in line for 20+ minutes while your food and drink sits by the drive-thru window and gets cold.

To top it off, your prices have skyrocketed. $15 for a salad and $10 for Mac n Cheese are not justifiable for the small portions and quality. It’s disheartening to see these price increases while it seems that your employees aren’t paid well, and they all appear unhappy to be there. No wonder your employee turnover is so high.
