Love going here. Great tacos and wings. They carry a large selection of beer for the small location they have. It is a nice place to kick back and enjoy company if friends after a nice ride on the trail. The staff is always friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

Have wanted to try the tenderloins here for a long time. Finally had the chance. Tenderloin did not disappoint. Fries were perfect. We also had the buffalo ones. Not spicy. Like thin potato wedges with light seasoning.
New ownership. Cards are allowed.

Finally made it to a champion of the Tenderloin Trail and it did not disappoint. We both had the tenderloin sandwich and it was an excellent example of Iowa’s state dish. A true tenderloin and the breading was not overwhelming so you get a very pork-forward experience. Fries were good and we also had gizzards and fried cauliflower, both very good. No beer on tap but a surprisingly decent variety in cans and bottles – if you have Guinness and Shiner Bock, you’re okay by me.
It wasn’t busy on an early Thursday evening but the service was still great. Food came out hot and delicious. A great experience and we will be back.

Very popular, busy place. We went for the breaded pork tenderloin and it was great. Service was very friendly and helpful but spread a little thin for all the customers… but they were hustling. Taco specials on Tuesdays, and wing specials on Wednesday.

Living in SW Iowa there are very few places listed on the official Iowa pork tenderloin trail, but when I notice one around, I like to go and check them out. It was good and the wife and I enjoyed it! She had the small with buffalo chip fries and I had the regular with classic fries. All was very good and the staff friendly.
NOTE: They don’t take cards.

Food has gone downhill since the new owners have taken over. Service is great, if you’re ok with an attitude along with it. I think there’s already a restaurant with that image. Word of mouth got to me about it and now I’ve had my turn. Good luck new customers

It’s a wonderful place to have some great food from Iowa! They have the best pork tenderloin sandwich you can buy. You might be put off by the basic appearance but it’s as nice, clean and ambient as anywhere I have visited! One great plus was no cell phone service!

Right off the Wabash and a great place to grab lunch on your ride. The “small” tenderloin was enough for 2 and the pies were fantastic.
Note, no food is served on Sunday and the pies are only available from Spring-Fall, so call ahead to make sure the Pie maker is back in town.

Kind of like what “Cheers” was. Go where everyone knows your name! Just a great place to go to hang out with friends. Wings are great, the tacos are awesome, and the burgers are phenomenal!
