Great service from the server. She was friendly and patient when we made a mistake ordering some food(our fault). We enjoyed her friendly and congenial disposition throughout.
Great empanadas!
Atmosphere is festive, and there’s a lot of seating (including an outdoor patio). Hostess and waitstaff were uniformly friendly and efficient. We’ll come here again!
Update: This place continues to be our favorite restaurant in downtown Exeter. It’s consistently good, always with friendly service. The last time I went, I got the loco moco, which rivaled authentic loco moco I’ve gotten in Hawaii!
I will be giving them another chance, since maybe this was a day that things were just “off”.
To my surprise, there was parking ️ out front on a Friday night. But it didn’t last long.
I was fortunate to find a seat at the bar . As soon as I left, it was taken!
Service was very friendly. All of the bartenders were polite and smiled. I had a short wait for my meal but a longer wait for my dessert.
I had the Fish Taco and the Empanada. Both tasted good but portion to price was low. But, inflation and it is downtown Exeter. The dessert was Key Lime Tartlet.
My only issue with the service was that I wasn’t given any utensils or napkins. I know it was appetizers but I usually get them at other restaurants. I did get a utensil with dessert.
They have WiFi but the password they gave me didn’t work.
The music wasn’t loud , which is good !
The menu has my curiosity so I will return. If you go, go early! Especially on a Friday night!
