My first visit tonight… I was told by my sister and her boyfriend that Mia’s has amazing Banh Mi, and since my first experience trying Banh Mi was not good I decided to give it a shot somewhere else so this was my spot to try! The Banh Mi here was absolutely fabulous, the bread was perfect, the pork was nice and flavorful and the veggies were cool and crisp! I definitely recommend Mia’s for this! I look forward to trying other dishes here in the future!!

Small, clean, modern restaurant with freshly prepared Vietnamese dishes. The Pork egg rolls, Grilled pork and shrimp over vermicelli noodles were delicious. Portions are generous and fairly priced. I wish I took photos. Will definitely be back!

When our favorite Vietnamese restaurant closed last year due to the owners illness, we were truly heartbroken. Pho has always been more than food for us – we call it medicine because of how healing it feels for both body and soul. So we began searching for a new place, hoping to find that same comfort and authenticity. During the search we discovered Mia’s and we instantly loved it. It’s a bit further from home, so we tried several other Vietnamese restaurants in Sarasota to see if anything closer would compare – but nothing came close. After having dinner at Mia’s last night, we knew for sure: this is the one. It’s absolutely worth the drive. The pho is exceptional. The broth is rich, flavorful and beautifully aromatic. The vegetables are so fresh, the meat is tender, and the presentation is lovely- we always take a moment just to appreciate the aroma and give thanks for such a nourishing meal. We also highly recommend the jasmine tea. Other places served tea bags or didn’t offer jasmine tea at all, but Mia’s makes it fresh. The fragrance and taste are wonderful, and it’s served in beautiful yellow cups with a pot for refills. The service is kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is spotless. If you love Vietnamese food – or if pho is your comfort meal like it is for us – you will absolutely love Mia’s. A true Sarasota gem.

What a great find, the food is surprisingly authentic with all the ingredients and flavors of traditional Vietnamese cooking from the motherland. There’s a lot of pride here in food quality, served up in tasteful decor and cheerful service. I had the Bún Riêu today, totally super delish. Mia’s is a gem.

We absolutely loved the food and service at Mia’s! Everything was great. We started out with spring rolls and they were fantastic, especially with the sauce. It’s a really good appetizer that I will get every time we go there. The beef cubes were flavored SO good and served with white rice but I upgraded to the pork fried rice – worth it! We were also pleasantly surprised by the fresh drinks offered. I ordered a lemonade and my daughter got a smoothie. Both were very refreshing – you can tell hand made quality; we’ll get them again. We will be going to Mia’s regularly and we recommend everyone go there too! It’s very good and it’s great to support a new local small business doing things right! Keep it up Mia’s!!

Will not return: too sweet
Fresh fading roses are beautiful. Light elevator music. Take out orders is more than sit down.
We’ve
– Spring roll: good
– Curry chicken D5: sweet
– Pho P4: I’ve ask for salt and pepper. Salt came in a ramekin.

My new top Vietnamese restaurant in the area. It’s genuine for the most part. I love their Bún bò Huế! It’s got kick-ass flavors and condiments that I don’t find in other restaurants up north. The spicy flavor hits home. My wife tried the banh mi recently and she loved the flavor as well as the bread roll crunchiness. The Taro cà phê đá (ice coffee) was so good on a hot day!
