We go there for the Chicken puffs mainly. Chicken puffs are properly spicy and it’s a rare find. Even though we see Indian restaurants every other town, we don’t find a lot of places here that offer Puffs and Pastries that are spicy and good.
They excelled in that and we will continue to go there for that.
But sadly the Biryani did not satisfy us. I mean it was good, well, ok, but not the best. We actually tried many options there through out the years and nothing stands out unfortunately. Had many biryanis that are better in other places so we would not be going back for that.
Food looks good. Service is friendly. I should mention the teller at the checkout counter for the grocery store needs training.
Tables were not very clean. However we managed to wipe them down ourselves and sit. Enough cutlery and napkins provided

I recently visited Indian Bazar and unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. When I asked the staff for recommendations, they simply referred me to the menu without any guidance. I ordered a variety of items including samosa, puff, bhel, Manchurian, pakodi, and pani puri. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was the worst I’ve ever had.
The pani puri was just water and puri without any masala, and the other dishes were equally subpar. Despite ordering multiple items, we were only given three packets of ketchup. When I politely requested more, the staff gave me one at a time with a rude attitude, as if I wasn’t paying for the food.
To make matters worse, the staff in the grocery section were neither friendly nor helpful. The overall experience felt unwelcoming and frustrating. The food was so disappointing that we left most of it untouched.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both food quality and customer service.

I love buying food from the deli AND ordering via DoorDash. It’s so convenient, the staff is so nice and the food is delicious. This place is packed with Indian clientele as the chef stays true to the recipes and flavors that we Indians are used to. I’m originally from Mumbai and this place gets both my thumbs up. Tonight I ordered the non-veg Goat Combo meal and also asked for a non-veg side instead of dal ($2.50 extra). The portions are huge. There’s vegetable pulao with goat curry and chicken fry (replacement for dal) with a chapatti. I also ordered chicken lollipop from the appetizer menu as they are my favorite.

We went here for the market & found this excellent restaurant! We had veg samosas, masala chai tea, Iranian chai, kofta biryani, mango cake, and veg Manchurian, and it was all delicious, though the veg Manchurian is very spicy & a bit above the spice level that I like. I ate it anyway & tolerated the spice because it tasted good. Great food for very reasonable prices.

I had to send a complaint to Hennepin health about these guys. They sold me a stale dish from their food section. Came back home , cracked it open and it full of strings inside . The food has gone stale. It’s up to the state of MN now.
