The place is fantastic. The dining place is very cozy and you feel like home. The interior design helped a lot to create this beautiful atmosphere. I ordered Shawerna and a bowel of beef/lamb over rice and other midteranean ingredients. It was well cooked and very yummy. The service was super friendly. The guy there was very helpful and friendly. He was very honest and helped us know about what they have. Prices are reasonable. I expected the food portion to be a bit bigger compared to the price, but all in all the taste will make you extremely satisfied with the price. My overall opinion, it is worth it to go and have a meal. The only thing you need to worry about was the parking place.. a bit limited and the street is relatively narrow.

Plenty of food and sides, and the flavor is incredible. Portion sizes are very generous, and everything was wrapped well for the drive home.

Cannot recommend this spot enough. Syrian food is not easy to come by outside of cultural enclaves, so finding Al Hara in Boonton was a delight. Mohammed is nice and cooks up some amazing food. The shawarma is the best I’ve ever had, and the pita chips with the labneh is delicious. Seriously, go give it a try! Then go again!

This has become one of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is amazing and portions are great. The staff is very friendly always with a smile. Today the wait was a little long so the offered us a sample to snack on while we wait. I would highly recommend! It’s my 3rd time here in a week

I made the mistake of spending my money at this place. We ordered the Beef/Lamb Shawarma and the falafel sandwich and both were sent without any sauce. They were very dry and difficult to eat. The beef and lamb meet were incredibly chewy, inedible. Both shawarmas looked like very sad thin burritos. The fries were cold and a ridiculous small portion. On top of that they don’t put care in the preparation- they didn’t shave the radish so it had hair and what they want to pass for cucumber is just its skin. For close to 50 dls this was an absolute rip off.
EDIT: The owners said they would reimburse me for the awful order but last minute they changed their minds and deleted their comment. Absolute lack of accountability.

Got their chicken Shawarma and really enjoyed it! The chicken was moist and flavorful and the pickle with the toum was delicious! They also have bowls and fafalel available, stop by if you’re around Boonton!

We walked in at a quiet time, with the restaurant completely empty, and hesitated—wondering if the food would live up to my hunger. Still, we decided to go in, and we’re so glad we did. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap and salad, and they were delicious. Truely delicious. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a chicken shawarma wrap this good.

So good! Highly reccomend the chicken bowl – and they’re able to accommodate gluten-free guests. It’s really great food and quick service for takeout or sit down. They also have a fabulous cardamom iced latte!! will be back!

Thoughtful interior design- just like their meals. Everything is detailed down to the presentation of the meal and the staff is warm and inviting. The shawarma is unbelievably good and both Labneh’s are so flavorful you’ll want a spoon to eat it with– or their soft seasoned za’atar pita chips! You’ll feel like everything you ever ate before could not compare.
The ice creams is also now a favorite of mine. The Tahini one won my heart but to be honest it’s hard choosing a favorite between this and the baklava. If you’re in the area, please try this spot. The hospitality and food are unlike anything I’ve seen.

Ordered twice so far and it’s been fantastic. It’s a younger couple that runs the place and you can tell they care by their food quality. The menu is small but appetizing.
Probably the best felafel I’ve ever had. Crunchy on outside, juicy inside.
