I saw a lot of fantastic reviews so I tried, but I was disappointed. I ordered pickup in their app. For first time user, there is a 25% off discount which is great! I ordered chicken wings in two flavors, OMG and honey butter. I would say the flavor is pretty decent but the meat is very mushy and tastes blend. Crispiness is okay. I think they are undergoing a reconstruction so the pickup process was not very smooth.

So I lied. See below. Ive been back several times and I order online as well. My most favorite Korean BBQ resturant ever! Tasty. The wings are huge, tender, and juicy.
Old post – I ordered this from Uber Eats 2 days ago. Yesterday, I had to go get my own food because I needed to know who made those chicken wings because they were so good.
So I drove the 20 minutes and when I got there, I wish I had never gone there. You stand in front of the door to order your food on a screen you never see. I never saw an employee until they called my number.
I won’t go there again, but I plan to order Chimmelier A LOT. Those BBQ wings are PERFECT! The seasoned fries are amazing. I hate spicy food, but those wings are addicting.
I will have photos next time.

They know what they’re doing. Great chicken. Seasoned to perfection. The packaging is really well put together!! Well thought out marketing here and the chicken lives up to it. The rice is delicious and spicy! I’d recommend.

I work nearby…my coworker brought a whole bunch for us in the emergency room, and im going to have to say that this is restaurant by far has the best chicken wings ever! I have never stepped foot in here, but im definitely going out of my way to get here! Also, I have no photo cuz I already ate it… and my 70 year old coworker was caught licking the paper where the chicken was laying on…so thats how I know its so good.

Tried this place for the first time with my friends and we ordered for takeout but decided to just eat there since we arrived early for pickup and got hungry.
This is a super low key small restaurant that has some high bench tabletop and then 2 tables with 4 seats each. The funny thing is that you’re sitting on top of this makeshift seats which are made out of Home Depot gallons with cushions place on top. Be aware! You can get your finger caught accidentally if you’re trying to lift and seat at the same time!!
The staff is pleasant and will bring out your food as it becomes ready. You basically grab your own water from the water station and they give you cups as well as utensils. If you order on the spot online, there is a large order screen.
FOOD:
– we ordered the garlic soy fried chicken wings and the dry rub chicken tenders – both were tasty
– the corn cheese was way more cheesy than expected — need more corn – it’s also very salty
– shrimp toast was good – better if you use the sauce to dip
– ttkeokbokki – very chewy – way chewier than I’d like – but not spicy and otherwise tasty – but a small portion only
Because fried chicken can be super greasy I did wish they had a wash station for your hands. Unfortunately they do not.
PARKING: is difficult if you come during busy hours as they have a lot of people coming in and out or waiting for takeout orders and delivery orders. Their FREE lot is oddly designed with tandem parking spaces on one side and only 4-5 regular spaces —but also street parking is quite difficult around that area too. So be patient.

The Best Korean Chicken of my life.
When I first came to K-town, my friend recommended I try Chimmelier’s chicken. The chicken tenders are so tasty and juicy. Moreover, they are huge, which I had never seen when I was in Taiwan. The flavor is slightly sweet, I recommend going with an unsweetened beverage.

The food is absolutely delicious. Definitely one of, if not my new favorite Korean Fried Chicken spots! Highly recommend. The Honey Butter chicken and the Hot Yang Yum chicken are yummy. You should also try the cheese balls! Perfect! The service is great, got food quickly and the staff is really nice.

I had such a great experience dining at Chimmelier… the staff was so incredibly friendly and the food was out of this world! We came for a quick dinner on Saturday night and found parking easily in their shared lot. We ordered a few different menu items and ended up getting fries and wings given to us due to a cancelled takeout order. The staff could have taken the food for themselves but they gave it to us and it was really nice. Our food was really good, it came out really fast, and I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I stopped by here recently and was so happy I did. First off, it’s LA, so yes there’s parking. They have a pretty big parking lot that they share with other businesses. The decor of this place is very cool. The artwork everywhere is beautiful. Absolute job well done to the artists. Now for the food. I am a sucker for fried chicken and this place did not disappoint. It was crunchy, juicy, flavorful, everything you need it to be. The shrimp toast was so good! I am still thinking about it. Huge shout out to Edwin for really guiding us through the menu. I am already planning my next visit with my friends. ***Make sure you can handle spicy before you get spicy***
