Wild Fig in New Hyde Park is a wonderful spot with great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Lily handled our transaction and truly made the experience exceptional. She was incredibly pleasant, professional, and attentive from start to finish. Lily greeted us with a warm smile, was patient, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her positive energy and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. It’s rare to come across service this thoughtful and consistent. Because of Lily, we’ll definitely be returning and recommending Wild Fig to others. Excellent experience overall!

I don’t know why. But it seems when you order a falafel, you get something that resembles a falafel, not the traditional one. Some other thing that I don’t know what do you call it? But I tried it anyway.
Didn’t really care for it. But the service, the young ladies at the counter were very attentive and wonderful. The location was very clean, very big. But they need to make a traditional original falafel, not what they gave me. I would go again just to see
If it’s any better the second time

After reading too many positive reviews, we decided to go eat here. This restaurant had the worst falafel bowl ever, the mixed meat pizza was so bad that we couldn’t even finish one bite of it. The place is spacious with many tables inside and you also can eat outside.
The staff saw that we had 2 children, we asked for children meal, the fake pizza ( as you see in the picture) was one of the kids meal. I had to ask the staff for the receipt, she looked at me like I committed a crime for asking her for the receipt.

I don’t really leave negative reviews but this place deserves it. Firstly the rice was mushy and thats gross. Second while I was trying to order my food the person at the counter was cutting me off to talk to people on line behind me. I was ok with it, because it wasn’t that big of a deal until she messed up my order. I asked if she can split the meatballs and steak and she only gave me steak. When I tried at tell her she ignored me and went to the next customer.
On the next station the other lady completely forgot 2 of my sides and she had already rung up my food by the time i noticed. I was also given the wrong sauce lmao. All this for it to be almost 20 bucks, i’ll go to chipotle next time. Thats what i get for trying to support a local business.

Great staff, the food was good too, but I would like to make special mention of the service here this evening. The place was clean and the servers were friendly, thank you.

11.99 per bowl
– very spacious, plenty of seats including outdoor seating
-friendly staff. I even saw an old lady come in to thank the staff and buy water and tip them for letting her use the bathroom days prior.
– portions are generous, We couldn’t finish the food.
-vibrant, colorful, healthy and delicious Mediterranean food similar to CAVA in Manhattan. The options are plentiful and laid out in front of you.
– skip chipotle and come here instead.
Location is almost hidden, this place definitely deserves more popularity IMO

All of the staff here are so sweet and attentive! Chloe was so sweet and made sure my order was right, she deserves the recognition it’s not often when someone stands out as a professional and kind human being! The food is also delicious and perfect for after the gym. 5 star location!!

Shame on this loctaion and shake shack, getting rid of smalls food trunk business. so people can only dine with your business only. You shouldnt get to decide what options the public has to eat. There’s enough money/people for every business. I’ve never liked your food anyways . Very greedy of your location to step on a small business for no reason other than it’s better than yours and the people were freely supporting them and not your always empty business.

I was looking forward to trying this Wild Fig as I had gone to one in Plainview some years back and enjoyed the food. Sorry to say, the experience here was not the same. Based on the Falafel and Hummus Sandwich I ordered for lunch, I would give this eatery 0 stars if I could. The sandwich itself is made on an oversized flatbread too big to eat without cutting it in half first, and the inclusion of grains made it impossible to pick up. I had to send my son back to get a plate and fork in order to try it, and once I did, my disappointment grew, as it was visually unappealing and tasteless. A complete waste of money. The greek salad with chicken that my son ordered looked better and he said tasted fine. However, if a restaurant can’t make a decent sandwich, that’s a pretty bad commentary. Will definitely not be coming back.
