I want to start this review by saying that their tacos are delicious, customer service is great! The Birria taco was very good and flavorful, just small, honestly wish I got more than what I did. At the time I went, the birria taco I got wasn’t the freshest, a little bit of the meat was tough and dried out but it was honestly still very tasty. Chorizo taco ! Chefs kiss! Only real complaint I have is the rice and beans, they pour the beans on top of the rice which I am not a fan of but of course just ask them to separate the two & the beans are a bit watery but I am in love with their tacos, I will be back!

This is BY FAR the best Mexican food in Newton County. Nothing in the area even comes close. Prices are very fair. Portions are generous and service is fast and friendly. I’ve only done take out, so I can’t speak to the dine in experience; but I’m sure it’s good. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a gas station parking lot scare you off. It’s always the places that look the most unassuming that serve the best food. Five stars all day!

10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The food is fresh and made to order. You can tell that every single item is made with love! Best salsa and queso around. Wings are big and cooked to perfection tacos are AMAZING! Great kids menu choices and its all made from scratch! Mozerella sticks are perfect! I will be visiting again soon and very often.

I ordered ala cart.
1 Pastor Taco $2.99 : 1 Queso Birria Taco $4.99
1 Pollo con Queso Pupusa $3.50
1 Tres Leche Cake $3.99

Both the tacos fell flat.

I expect Pastor to be brimming with a vibrant, tangy-sweet, and mildly spicy flavor profile, with an aromatic depth from its unique marinade. Instead it was fairly bland, with neither a hint of spicy nor sweet.

I expect Birria to be rich with a smoky flavor and an earthy heat. The meat itself should be succulent, almost melting in your mouth. This was also bland, with little to no smokiness nor heat, it was also over cooked and too tough.

The Pollo pupusa changed my mind.
It was really good.
The pupusa’s thick masa breading was toasted to a beautiful golden crust with the right amount of char to add flavor without tasting burnt.
Inside, shredded chicken was tender and seasoned just right. The cheese was mild and creamy which smoothly added richness to each bite.
My only complaint here is that the pupusa wasn’t served with a traditional curtido or even a salsa.

Lastly the Tres Leche Cake.
Delicate, moist, sweet, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Each bite is creamy and slightly cool, with the milk mixture providing a silky texture that contrasts with the cake’s airy crumb. It was the star of the meal.

I will go back to try some other items, but honestly the tacos were disappointing.
For great tacos I suggest :
Pinches Taco Shack in Covington OR
Tacos Lupita in Conyers.

I love this place, there is not one thing I haven’t tried that wasn’t good. The food, desserts, appetizers and aguas frescas are great. Only things I wish they could change is being open on Sunday’s. The prices are okay a bit up there but still the same as other places. I have dined in and got food to go.

Wish I would have listened to the reviews I read on DoorDash. The food is sloppy, fries are old no love put into their food and it shows $80 of food wasted. Should have known better will continue driving to conyers for Bella Vista.

Never had a bad experience here! As a Cali girl that moved to Georgia, it’s seriously so nice to find authentic Mexican food. Every time I come here, I try something new & I have yet to be disappointed!

This place is absolutely horrible. The people are very nice but the food is just not good for the most part. We came here today and ordered a 10 piece mild wing, fries, a drink, a bacon cheese burger, and onion rings.
Let me start off by saying the positive, the onion rings were DELICIOUS. The fries were fine just your average crinkle cut fry.
The burger was a flat flavorless patty comparable to the bagged burger patties you can get at Walmart. The first time they made it they put ketchup on it which we didn’t want so they took it back and “fixed it” but when I got home and opened the burger there was still ketchup as if they just wiped it off and put Mayo on. The lettuce was a shredded soggy mess.
The wings are absolutely the worst wings we have EVER eaten anywhere. They were hard and dry and chewy we literally were not able to eat them.
Like I said the workers were very kind but I don’t see this business continuing much longer if they continue to put out this quality food.
