I’m pretty impressed with the amount of food they give you.I ordered a large sweet and sour chicken and the container was overflowing with chicken. The staff is friendly and the food was hot and ready. I’m excited to try other dishes they serve.

I’ve been a loyal customer here since moving to the area in 2020, but unfortunately, something has clearly changed under the new ownership, to which I was unaware of. While I was away on business travel, I missed the transition, and only discovered it when I ordered my go-to dish, General Tso’s chicken.
The difference was immediate. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and missing the vegetables that used to come standard. The pork fried rice was equally disappointing—hard, flavorless, and nothing like what this restaurant used to serve and the egg roll tasted very different…
It’s incredibly disappointing to see the quality drop off so sharply, especially since this was the only reliable Chinese food option in Ellington. With this decline, the area is now left without a single decent choice.

Food is definitely not as good as previous owners. Chicken lo mein and general tso’s was dry, shrimp fried rice had hardly any shrimp in it as well as the shrimp egg roll. Chicken wings where small and dry and no flavor at all like the previous owners made them. Portions where a bit smaller as well. We will definitely miss the previous owners but will give the new owners one more try before going elsewhere.

What a pleasant surprise! The food was fresh and tasty, staff very friendly and accommodating even after we added to the original order minutes later. The Special Wanton Soup is brimming with shrimp, chicken, sugar snap peas, water chestnuts, pork and giant wantons in a delicate broth. Also tried the General Tso’s Tofu (Meatless Monday) and was not disappointed even the following day warmed up in the over turning the tofu pieces crispy and satisfying. Just what we were looking for on a snow day!

Use to go to China Taste in Rockville on Rte 30, after Covid they jacked their prices up and the quality went down. China Eagle, this place is awesome!!!! I’ve never had a bad order of food from here. The quality, quantity, is spot on. Chicken fingers, Crab Rangoon Egg, and shrimp rolls are never greasy like other places. The last few times I’ve placed orders the phone never stops ringing, so it takes the 1 person off from cooking and slows the process down some.
Not complaining, I will wait for the quality!!
