Stopped by Sunday at about 2:30 after a long drive for a drink. The room was open but nobody was in. Wife and I sat for over five minutes, even used the rest room. Eventually, we realized that we were not their target market and left. Fortunately, this is not a typical experience at McMenamins.

The popular Pub on the main floor is a great place to start. Order something to eat and enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree look at the region from the Rooftop Bar. There’s live music in the Cellar Bar or Mattie’s Room. The artwork, antique photos and architectural wall hangings really caught my eye in the Cellar Bar. But there’s way more to the Hotel Oregon than just drinking. Exploring the history of the building can easily take your time away. I felt like there were secrets hidden in every nook and cranny as I explored. Trust me. Walk & look around and you’ll know what I mean. The events, the open mic nights, the restaurant… There’s even an annual UFO Fest!

3 of us went in Saturday June 08th for drinks and music. Band was amazing, but I wanted to especially point out Paul, the bartender. Hands down the best service we have had here. The place was packed and he was so very attentive but no overly. GREAT JOB! We were very impressed. Thank you.
