The best Thai restaurant on the island. I go there all the time and it is excellent. On my last visit it was not as good as usual but it is still a very high-class restaurant and definitely worth a visit.

The atmosphere is extremely charming and full of Thai culture. The service is amazing. On the other hand, the food is very far away from what you are expecting. Maybe we were not lucky, because on the day of our visit there was a special event with a special menu. Maybe their everyday menu is much better. But we were really disappointed.

We got Papaya Salad, Massaman Curry and Pad See Ew. The food overall we’re nothing special. For drinks we got Thai Basil Smash and Monkey Mojito. The presentation of the cocktails were a bit too much and the cocktails were very weak. Overall it was just ok. For the price range, definitely we expected something more wow.

Yesterday night we had the best experience! The waitress was so so so patient, explained all the details of the menu with a big smile , the food was so fresh and yummy . The restaurant is so beautiful, unique decorated dishes and view . I’m so glad I found this place .

Unusual and nice interior, with available parking and a very comfortable atmosphere. The food is adapted for Europe, not spicy at all but still tasty. Portions are medium-sized but filling. The Tom Kha soup and fish are delicious no spicy, but ok. The staff is polite and attentive. Prices are somewhat high.

Highly recommend the Golden monkey signature cocktail – very tasty and fashionably served
Wasn’t blown away by the food as expected. We had the chicken Pad Thai and the veg Thai Noodle soup. It was tasty but not the best. On the flip side- one of best meals we’ve had in Cyprus.

This Thai restaurant’s dishes are at most average to somewhat good. We had a selection of items from the menu, the curry and meat dishes were nice. However, the wait to order at the beginning was too long, service needs to improve. Their cocktails are very creative and tasty. The interior is pleasant and well designed.

Remarkable experience! All the main dishes and dessert were delicious!! The staff was very polite and the service was good overall. Highly recommended!
The only thing we could have changed from our last visit was the appetizer (prawns spring rolls). It was ok but not as good as the main dishes. But not bad though.

I’m going to be candid with this review.
I think the blue outdoor lighting and decor and landscaping and overall appearance from the outside of the St. Raphael hotel makes the place look cheap and tired.
So when I went in search of Thai food last night online and saw the menu at Golden Monkey I figured it didn’t hurt to go down the street to the hotel and try it out.
The service was exceptional, the food was very flavorful, and the decor inside of the restaurant felt more upscale than I anticipated.
Now if only they could get the Golden Monkey designer to give the hotel some tips on their use of outdoor space and lighting.
