My trip to NYC is always special but this was just exceptional, especially since I found this gem of a place for food—Qissa Khwani Kitchen. This spot delivers authentic Pakistani and Afghan flavors with perfection. The Kebabs were crispy yet juicy, the Karahi was rich and aromatic, and the Pulao had the perfect balance of savory and sweet. Every bite transported me to the streets of Peshawar. The Chicken Karahi’s smell and taste is unbelievable. Reminds of me my roots. The staff are nice, mannered and courteous. Made us feel like it’s home and not just another food place. If you’re in NYC and craving authentic South Asian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return! Looking forward to another trip in weeks.
