Very disappointed , had been there before and enjoyed a wonderful lunch with my daughter but this one day went alone very hungry looking forward to their half chicken plate and say there and waited and waited and for whatever reason never got waited on. Waitress and a young man who I assume was also a waiter passed me by several times and never came to my table. Anyway got up and walked out and as I’m walking out I hear someone holler “Thank you”! Not sure for what . Ended up going to Dave’s bbq, had a terrific lunch there…

I am so excited to write this review! My wife, daughter, best friend and I had the pleasure of dining in at your restaurant. This was our first experience with Texas BBQ! My friend is the pickiest eater in my experiences with eaters. He ate all of his brisket sandwich and fries. He really enjoyed it. I have to say that I am glad to have chosen your place to eat. I have lived in the valley since 2014. I have never found a place that is that good, and the food is excellent. The ribs are so soft. They fall off the bone. I have never tasted brisket. That’s soft in my life. I would 1000 times recommend this place. The ladies who own it are very nice and very polite. I drove from La Feria to go there.

The portions were great for the price. Really enjoyed the brisket and chicken. Service was good and the restaurant was calm and quiet. Perfect for a quick but delicious lunch.

If you leave this place hungry, something’s wrong. I had the “largest” half chicken on a plate with two sides, charro beans and onion rings. Hubby had the brisket plate with macaroni and cheese and charro beans. Traveling companion had the brisket sandwich and corn on the cob. All of the meats were moist and well seasoned. The charro beans were delicious; the Mac & cheese, you could eat your weight in it; onion rings were nothing special. The bbq sauce was well balanced with sweet and a little heat.
Our second visit was as delicious as our first 6 months ago. Highly recommend.

Very cute place. Food good, chicken could have been bigger piece for the price that you pay. Waitress poorly, I asked for sugar packs, brings me a bowl of sugar. WOW! (have 3 types of sugars pack always)
While eating waitress moved a family that was sitting enjoying the company NOT COOL! The other party could have waited 5 more minutes. It would have gotten a big rating but service NEEDS improvement, sitting section hit, chicken and brisket pieces could be bigger.

I have been here 3 times and decided the 3rd time I would leave a review. The staff is very nice and inviting. The restaurant has a lot of space and well put together.
Each time I had the same reaction to the food. The meat is really missing that bbq smoke flavor and is very bland, it does taste ok but does not leave a lasting impression and me wanting more.
The sides are ok but again nothing to say OMG this is delicious.
The banana pudding was absolutely delicious!
Unfortunately this will be the last time I go, hopefully they improve on the smoke and over all taste and maybe then I will be back. Best of luck.

It’s a little hidden gem.
Firstly, the prices are competitive for a decent BBQ. I’ve tried many, and it is refreshing to get five entrees for the price we paid. Also, if you’re worried about the taste, it depends on the cuts you get. If you want moist, ask. The flavor and tenderness were all wonderful. However, we did go around lunchtime as soon as they opened.
We ordered:
BBQ Nachos- Great, cheese needs more cheddar flavor, but good.
BBQ Fries- I loved them. Delicious.
BBQ spud- The Mac gave it a different take.
3 Meats Sampler- Meat was tender
BBQ tacos- Please consider adding Pico or chimichurri as options 😉

This is a family run restaurant so they care about the business and want you to return so we are treated like family. The brisket is so tender you can cut it with a fork. Ribs are super meaty and tender and the chicken is cooked to perfection. This is my favorite BBQ restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
