The best Indian food I’ve ever had. This restaurant is a hidden gem. I ahd tandoori wings for starter (no pink chicken meat), followed by South Indian garlic Lamb and garlic mushrooms with cheese Naan. Phenomenal well cooked with superb ingredients. 100 recommend

Collected a takeaway from here, reasonably priced and ready in good time.
Didn’t feel like the food was anything special, was quite a lot of oil on the surface of the curries and not a lot of sauce. Chicken was a bit dry.
Naan breads and rice were good.
Has a very varied menu so may consider returning and trying something different.

Paid a visit on Friday night, not being very optimistic, as Ely Indian restaurants have gone downhill in recent years. Pleasantly surprised to find really excellent food and friendly service. In fact I’m not sure I remember having better Indian restaurant food than this. You must go there for the food, really tasty, good portion sizes and reasonably priced!

I booked a table for six on for sunday the 16th feb
On arrival every thing was good got seated service was good popadoms beers all good
Then came out the starters 1 reshi was raw the prawn puri was nothing like a prawn puri was absolutely disgusting , then the the main meal come out 2 tawa nothing like towers
The madras was also nothing like madras i couldn’t even eat it it was that horrible beers were ok when complained there was no apology
Just we will take 1 main off bill wasn’t impress with waiters 3 young lads there couldnt even speak english taking drinks to wrong tables and food
Ovehaul a bad night with a bill of over 200 pounds
As said ive always found the food good hear but after this sinario i wont be going back if it carries on like this they going to loose alot of customers

We dinned here to celebrate 3 of our team members reaching 10 + years working with us, and it couldn’t have been a better choice! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful wig every detail taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and nicely presented. The atmosphere made everyone left with A wonderful evening all around, and we’re already looking forward to our next dinner here.

Great Sunday Lunch, and enough for a box of lunch on Monday. The madrass sauce is very more-ish, and the salmon, according to my o/h was nice and sweet. Their Saga loo is also great. Oh and just get the special rice with egg, it’s great with meat. After trying almost every eatery in Ely, this is the one to return to with good friends.

I really enjoyed my tandoori platter starter and my chicken tikka masala main. Shamim and his family looked after us well, and made very good recommendations about what we would enjoy eating. It was a very enjoyable evening, and it’s great to have this place in Ely. This was our first visit, and we will definitely return.
