The Barbacoa: Perfectly shredded, tender beef with just the right amount of seasoning. It’s definitely the star of the show.
Fresh Ingredients: The mango salsa adds a bright, sweet-and-spicy kick that balances the savory beans and rice.
The Extras: The guacamole is chunky and fresh, and the grilled tortilla holds everything together perfectly without falling apart.
The portion was generous and the service was quick. It’s easily one of the best quick-casual Mexican options in the area
For my first time coming here.
I came for the $5 burritos.
Specifically, the sweet pork burrito.
I went in to order and everyone was friendly.
I was surprised to see that they make their tortillas on site.
The other guys dont do this.
I asked for a sweet pork burrito.
They only had one option for rice but it was good. It tasted like Spanish rice.
The bean options are: pinto, black or refried.
The sauces are interesting: tomatillo, green or red enchilada (which they said was their hottest but its not spicy).
Then they ask if you want cheese or to have it smothered before putting it through a conveyor oven.
I opted not to do this because I wanted to taste the tortilla. Which beat the other guys).
After the conveyor they had a lot of other toppings before checkout.
I want to add that throughout they had someone on site taking the temperatures of the meats, beans and sauces.
Everyone wore gloves.
On our way out I say that they served fountain drink and horchada. They had hot sauces for in restaurant dining along with silverware.
On the way out, as it was their grand opening, some worked allowed us to spin a prize wheel where we won entrees, stickers and my son wore a hat.
The workers were kind.
At home tlwe ate our burritos and they were good. I would probably try a different. Eat and have it smothered but overall I liked it. It is comparable to the other guys but has so.e uniqueness to it.
I will return!
Friendly staff, clean restaurant and good food.
highly recommended!
I hope that they do some sponsoring of the high school across the street “the Village”.
