This is a local spot I’ve tried and I really want to like but the food just falls flat. My chorizo was burnt l, my pupusas never have cheese when I order it but the tres leche is amazing. I’ve tried a little of everything and its eh ok. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean

I’m so happy the bakery is still around. I work at the nearby suitland federal center and was unable to visit for years while we were working 100% from home. But now I’m able to pop in on the occasional Friday for a cookie, turnover and other yummy baked goods!

Just stopped in for sweet pastries looked around but not a big selection to pick from was looking around for milk to drink for one serving but didn’t look any no one came out to help one guy on his cell and one working the counter. Sad it could be lot better.

After seeing the reviews and of course being a true West Coast Mexican, I know what authentic Mexican sweet bread it’s supposed to taste like. Sadly, their choices were very few and it looked like the bread was beginning to get stale. The taste was ok, I’ve had better from a panaderia in Tacoma Park. I’m not sure why it was so highly rated. Maybe the quality declined? I hope they can improve, I drove a nice little way to try it.

I don’t know what to make of it. I can’t say my dessert was disappointing but I can’t say it looked super clean on the inside of the store either lol. It had a bodega feel which I actually liked. There was a kid behind the register which is culturally normal. 4 stars for the Tres Leches cake.
