GQ Palace definitely seems to be a local favorite for carryout, with customers frequently rolling in and out for quick orders. It’s a nice, small spot with workers who are genuinely friendly.
While I stayed for a glass of wine (it should be noted they don’t offer a happy hour menu), the focus here is clearly on efficiently serving high-quality takeaway orders. If you’re looking for a reliable, friendly place to grab your dinner on the go, this is a great choice.

It was my 1st time there and the service was great!!! The bartender and owner made sure every thing was good…If you are familiar with the African culture you will definitely enjoy everything about this place..
The lounge area is set up for a V.I.P. that is amazing!!!

My friends and I were looking for somewhere to grab food in the area, and GQ Palace Restaurant & Lounge was one of the only options that opened until late (2am).
Definitely keep in mind that this is a lounge/club, so if you plan on being able to talk while dining in the evening – this may not be the option that you want to go with.
The service was very very slow… There was some slight confusion with the waitress when our table gave our order – but luckily we were able to iron it out before the food arrived.
It could have been that we were super hungry – but the food did seem to take a long time to come out. We decided that was likely a good thing as it meant it was being freshly prepared ♀️.
Overall the Suya was tasty, and the pepper sauce served on the side was actually a good spice level. The Nwkobi (cow feet) was tasty – and it had been a while since I’d had it, so that was a pleasant surprise. My friends had the Fried Rice and Goat Soup and they both agreed that it was tasty.
I wish I had checked the bill properly before paying… I wasn’t aware of the 15% additional service charge added to each bill. Maybe if I had known that I wouldn’t have added such a generous tip.
Overall, the music and food was good. But it was super duper loud and the service could be improved a lot.

This place is a lot of fun with great food and drinks. I can honestly say that the music here is the best ! The owner is also extremely nice and enjoys having a good time just like you’ll have one you visit. Prepare for a party here if you go.

I came in went to the bar ordered a shot of whisky and a 12 ounce bottle of Heineken, $24 dollars from the lady waitress. 2nd order from male, just a shot of jack $10, third order from male shot of jonnie walker black $10. So what the beer cost $14 dollars? then tried to order hooka all night from a different male bar tender he just brushed me off like a half dozen times until I finally left. Definitely discriminate. O ly reason I say that is because I look white and clearly he was serving Africans that cane after me multiple times. over an 1 hour period he brushed me off 6 times and served people that came in after me. I don’t recommend if your not African

This was the first place I visited with my boyfriend on dinner date ,who is now my husband. We visited yesterday with family for dinner, and I was so surprised at how amazing the place looked. The food tasted just as I remembered it from two years ago; it was incredible! The customer service was excellent, and the owner of the restaurant was very pleasant and welcoming.

Walking in I was asked to be searched(I came to get food)placed my order. Waited sooooo long I didn’t want the food anymore. Although the food was tasty, for $65 plus the wait file:///var/mobile/Library/SMS/Attachments/da/10/978F1BBD-E39F-483A-A041-B784DDEF1A31/IMG_1942.HEIC will not eat here again. Ps: my bag was searched but, I had a razor in my pocket.
