Long time Papa John’s fan and it is normally one of my family’s favorites but we were severely disappointed in our experience today. Overall my review would normally be 3.5 stars for this location so instead of giving this a single star which would reflect today’s experience I’m giving it two.
We ordered at 2 o’clock in the afternoon today and our pizza was VERY doughy…
I cannot imagine a valid excuse for this at a period of time during the day where they are probably getting very few orders? Obviously there are either some problems with their oven and temperature settings or even despite it being a slow time of day maybe the workers may have decided to do the old reach in and grab our pizza early from the oven? I don’t know but whatever the reason it can’t be a good one when I am paying almost $80 for four pizzas…
Could have been a really good experience if the pizzas were just cooked for a few minutes longer.

The food was very good, I would definitely come back again. The presentation of the food wasn’t great though. Our cheese sticks weren’t cut through fully, the pizza was half and half and wasn’t made symmetrical. They cut it slightly to the right instead of down the middle. The wings just had the sauce dripped on them and weren’t covered. It literally took me 10 seconds to shake them to mix them properly so I’m not sure why they couldn’t. Also my husband said the employee wasn’t in a great mood, but I guess we all have bad days.

I ordered last week on Halloween. I knew it would be busy so I ordered an hour and a half before I wanted it delivered. I called to see if they could actually move it up half an hour and the girl told me no because that was too late notice. Sure, fine that works, I will keep it at 5pm then. I asked her if she felt like they were too busy and if it would come on time or if I should cancel, and she convinced me it would be on time or shortly after and even told me they were trying to get things out early so that they wouldn’t be behind. I tracked it on their app and still not convinced so around 4:30 I called because it had not been started yet and they assured me it would be there within 5-10 min of the time. It did not leave their store until 10 minutes after the scheduled time and did not show up at my house until it was 25 minutes late.

I called a little frustrated, we were trying to leave and eat prior and now we are 25 minutes behind schedule. The manager was extremely rude to me, he went off on me about how they have had 170 orders and repeated this multiple times. And I get that it was busy which is why I ordered so early. I do not believe that any customer should be treated and yelled at on the phone the way I was. I will not be coming back to this location purely on the fact that they could not deliver on the time they promised, the manager is irate and that they did not seem to care at all and simply said at least you got your pizza. My only option from them was to have a driver come back and pick up the order for a refund, which we had already left the house and I was not waiting for him to come back just for the refund.

There are SO many people looking for jobs. Why this location hired the workers they did is beyond me. My husband told them THREE times what our order name was under. They STILL got it wrong. I then called to let them know and I couldn’t understand a word the guy was saying. Slurred his words, was very disrespectful over the phone too and acted like he didn’t even know what I was saying. Please fire workers like this and hire those who actually want to work. (01/27/26)

We placed an order with our local Papa John’s and were told several times that our pizza was “in the oven” and would be ready in about 10 more minutes. After waiting around 30 minutes, we overheard that our order had actually been delivered to another house by mistake. They said they would remake it, but another 45 minutes went by — and two hours after ordering, we still didn’t have our food.

Eventually, the manager came over and asked why we were still waiting when all orders had supposedly been completed. I explained the situation and how frustrating it was to be repeatedly told it was almost done when it clearly wasn’t. He immediately apologized, refunded our order, made us larger pizzas free of charge, and even threw in a few extras to make up for the mistake.

While the experience itself was incredibly frustrating and took up my entire night, I do appreciate that the manager took responsibility and did what he could to make things right. What started as a one-star experience ended up as a three-star thanks to his effort.

Went online to make a order with a gift card I recently acquired, online said I was not able to use the gift card and I needed to call the store. I called the store, which ended up being the call center. The call center could not combine a gift card with a debit or credit card. It had to be one or the other. So they transferred me to the store. The store can you use the gift card and another card, but there are no specials available when calling the store. So I lose out on saving about $16 so I can use the gift card, which almost wipes out the entire gift card. I love Papa John’s generally but this is absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say I did not order any pizza tonight and probably won’t in the future from Papa John’s.

This is a take out only store. Not a lot of room if they are busy like when we were there. There was no menu at the store other than a generic one stating sizes and prices of pizzas, for example no list of what specialty pizzas they offer. So I had to ask the employee, who had to look them up. She didn’t see anything like supreme or combo or deluxe. We ended up ordering the Philly cheesesteak. It was good. We also ordered the parmesan breadsticks. They were just OK. Not a lot of flavor.

Now that I’ve had time to look at the menu online, I see there is The Works, and cheesesticks. I would have ordered those 2 things had there been a menu at the store.

The food was good, the people were nice, and it was pretty fast. Just would’ve liked to see the full menu somewhere at the store. We’ll go back and order the works and cheesesticks.

Always good food and order is done right. Had one issue that was brought up when I picked food up and the situation was quickly corrected. Establishment is clean and employees are always friendly and helpful. Food is always on time ready and hot at pickup. The taste is spot on which is why Papa Johns is my favorite pizza joint.

Ordered pizza at 6:22 PM it gave an estimated delivery time of 45 mins. I called them at 7:10 PM for and update because the tracking app was not updating. They said it was just finished and they are handing it out then. I called back at 7:40 PM still haven’t seen my food tracking app still not updated. They said it just left. 8 PM still no food. Looked again at tracking app and food showed delivered. No one knocked or anything at the door. Pizza was cold
