Best malasada in town with very unique flavors. The dough is soft and the cream is light, but the price is pretty steep with each one being $6.50+. Good thing I love far from them because otherwise my wallet will be hurting. With a all the unique flavors, itsy hard not to try more than one. I do love that they have the option of mini malasadas so you can eat even more without being too filled from each one. Everytime I go, there’s always something new so it’s a nice surprise each visit.

The malasada doughnuts are worth the trip. The friendly staff also suggested the larger doughnuts as better value compared to the mini versions. They are crispy but chewy and have a rich cream filling. They offer standard flavors and frust-based, seasonal flavors too.

Came here for the first time because they serve malasadas. The place looks really nice at the inside even when it’s small with some relaxing music.

The service does slightly need improvement, because they kinda forgot about the iced latte. They also thought that I wanted 2 malasadas when I wanted one.

The Ube Coconut tastes really good. I like when they added Ube cake piece I believe. The main issue is the iced latte I ordered. For some reason, it tastes weird. Not sure if it’s because of the espresso or the whole milk? If it’s because of whole milk, it tends to rotten quicker than oatmilk. Maybe I could have substituted with that instead. I’ve never tasted iced latte that unusual out of all the cafes I’ve been through.

Other than that, everything is good. Honestly, I would give this place a higher rating if it wasn’t for the latte.

Super cute spot for doughnuts and lattes. The place is clean and cute: definitely perfect for a quick stop by. The ladies running the place are also very pleasant in their interactions with customers.

We got the ube, birthday cake, and salted egg donuts as well as an iced sesame latte and a hot honeycomb latte. Highly recommend the donuts: if you want sweet, then birthday cake with peach compote is the way, but if you’re looking for more traditional Asian flavors without it being too sweet, the other two are perfect. I am a massive fan of the honeycomb latte as well – they drop in an actual honeycomb and the drink isn’t too sweet. Even though it’s a little pricey, it’s worth it!

Fresh, light and flavourful malasadas. Their minis are the perfect size for one person. Ube & Mango are my fav.

Amazing and friendly family owned cafe! We got an iced orange latte, gochujang caramel sesame cookie, charcuterie board malassada, and a slice of the guava basque cheesecake. Wish they were open more often and that we lived in the area as everything we ordered was very unique yet delicious.

-orange latte: very enjoyable, reminded me of the latte from camel coffee in SoCal (now rebranded as Handel’s)

-gochujang caramel cookie: love the slight spice and the texture

-charcuterie board malassada: such a unique flavor. The cream cheese was slightly sweet and the fig and walnut added a nice texture. Was a risk ordering this unique flavor but no regrets and will definitely want to try other flavors next time.

-guava basque cheesecake: must order!

Very glad we were able to visit at least once during our trip. Will definitely recommend and visit again next time around!

Dough Wei Me is a gem of Union City and East Bay Area. Founder Mei and her husband Ken are so dedicated to serving quality products and heartfelt service. My local company asked if they would do a large catering order of almost 2,000+ malasadas. They worked great with accommodating our needs and requests. From the packaging to delivery, and of course the gorgeous and delicious pastries, everything exceeded our expectations.

The pastries are pillowy soft, filled with brilliant artisanal cremes that have amazing flavors! My favorites are Tiramisu, Ube, Mango, and Matcha. The seasonal Pumpkin Pecan was also incredible.

I stopped by again for a smaller order of two dozen preorder and Ken and Mei personally greeted me with so much warmth and gratitude. I got to try the black sesame latte which was so yummy! Overall, this bakery is a must-try. Definitely worth the time and cost to experience.

Opted for a pick pre-order and definitely had no regrets serving these wonderful desserts during our Hawaiian themed Christmas with the family. Although there was a missing competent from our original order, the owner went above and beyond to try and make it right by offering the remaining pastries that were left for another family member to pick up. There was also a follow up to apologize and ensure that we were satisfied with our order. Each pastry is carefully cooked with so much care and unique flavor. Do not sleep on the guava cheesecake, it’s so delicious! I will certainly be making it a point to order from them even though we live like 45+ min/ few towns away. Their limited hours makes more sense now given the time and craft that goes into the pastries. Must try every item if you can.
