Gambino’s Pizza is constantly closing early, and the time fluctuates, so you never know when it REALLY closes. They are supposed to close at 9PM, so tonight I drove there to order 6 chicken wings to go, it was 8:35PM, one other time, it was 8PM. However, the girl there said I couldn’t order anything hot. I said, “Well that really narrows it down”. Apparently, it was her boyfriend waiting for her just sitting there. In the past, I’ve complained to the manager and the owner about this and other things, but he obviously doesn’t care, nothing ever changes. So I do not recommend this Gambinos! Unless you don’t mind wasting your time driving there just to be turned away.

If the pizza on the buffet would have been hot and fresh at 12:45, I would have given them 5 stars. But no the pizza looked gross and was cold. All the employees did was warmed up the pizza instead of making FRESH PIZZA. All I had for lunch was a salad. My mouth was watering for pizza. What a let down . Also we didn’t order sodas but they charged us for 2 drinks. Husband wanted water so we received a partial refund for the drink.

Had four carloads of family stop at Gambinos Auburn on Sunday, Jan 14, at around 12:45 p.m. Was poorly greeted by dude in white beenie cap on backwards. It was a cold day and front door continually had to be pulled shut after anyone entered. -3 degrees. Must say the pizza was very good. We had to ask for plates though, and it was hard to get any service as the four workers were always in the back. The bathroom(s) were very unpleasant, in fact one was propped open with an overflowing trach can. ?? Snow shovel was propped again drink fountain when it wasn’t laying in the way on the floor. Our group was passing through, ordered about 7-8 pizza’s, and had a nice time visiting as no one else in the dining area. Decent food (a little pricy, especially the salads at $8?) but don’t know if I will stop again.

Saturday evening I ordered a take out a Sausage Cravers with a coupon to get Any Large Pizza for the price of a Medium. It cost me $23.48? I asked if that was correct and the young woman said yes. I’d sure hate to have seen the price without the coupon. My last visit was one of the best pizza’s I’ve had, last nights pizza and experience was the worst ever.

I try to eat their lunch buffet at least once a week. Their ‘salad only’ is a great value. It’s simple, but includes everything I’d expect and like on a salad bar in a setting like this. Their Pizza and other hot food items are very tasty. Staff is always nice and friendly. Try it, you’ll like it.

Ok, I normally really enjoy this establishment. But after the phone call I just had today (October 19th 2021 @ around 1710) I do not believe I will ever order from them again. Reason being, I called to order pizza and the immature guy on the phone was burping during the entire phone call and in the background you could hear the other employees laughing. Don’t mind jokes but if this is the way the owner runs his business. I will gladly travel to Topeka to a different pizzeria.

Called in an order to go so we could pick it up on the way through. We get there with a car full of hangry kids and they didn’t have our order. They found the ticket but the guy who took the call decided my family wasn’t worth dinner. Never again!

Called and waited on the line for quite a bit till they picked up, could hear the buzzing of a register in the background. not a word was spoken and they hung up, Called back later and a girl pretended she couldn’t hear me.. Unbenounced to her I could hear my own voice coming back from their end of the line, tested my mic directly after to give them the benefit of the doubt.. it works. So yeah not great customer service, also they’ve always been a bit overpriced (IMO) could learn a thing or two from the Mexican place down the street
