However, today was completely unacceptable.
While eating my bowl, I discovered a long blonde hair in the food. I had already eaten a portion of the meal before noticing it. Neither I nor my fiancé have blonde hair. The discovery immediately made me sick to my stomach, and I ended up throwing the entire bowl away.
This is extremely unsanitary and should not happen in a food establishment. Proper PPE is supposed to include gloves, aprons, uniforms, and appropriate hair restraints. Incidents like this strongly suggest that hair containment protocols are not being properly enforced. Employees preparing food should be wearing hairnets to prevent contamination.
Customers work hard for their money, and it is unacceptable to pay for food that ends up in the trash due to preventable hygiene issues. I hope management takes this matter seriously and ensures stricter adherence to sanitation standards moving forward
I never post complaints but this now the 4th time I’ve had an issue.
After the third time and having to jump through email hoops, their corporate office comped 3 bowls to my rewards.
I ordered 2 bowls and 1 salad.
Got the dressing but no salad, but I was given a rice bowl instead. Ordered guacamole which of course I was charged for and did not receive. This is now the third time that has happened.
I have been to other Chipotle locations and I have NEVER had a bad experience at those but the one in Whitehall is the worst.
Always out of things, everyone looks lost and they clearly don’t read the online orders.
It’s either terrible management or no management at all.
You can’t call to address it. All you get is an automated recording and they send you an email.
I will not go back again. I was so excited Chipotle was coming to our area and they have seriously FAILED to live up to the standard they once had.

I get that food service is a tough job. I have respect for the workers. Even more so in the past few years. I try to be the easy customer – speaking clearly, please and thank you’s and being prompt at checkout.
I just can’t go back… look at the pictures other reviewers have posted.. the make line is disgusting most of the time.
They are out of ingredients more often than not.
I tried to give this place many many attempts. I’ve never really been motivated to give a negative review on Google until today. The manager there is just smug and the antithesis of customer service.
I have had many poor experiences with the Fairmont location… I’d love to share more with a regional manager (please reach out!) but for today I’ll share this as I’m limited on characters:
When making my bowl today, it was scarcely portioned, employee only put about 1.5 ounces of chicken on the two bowls I was ordering. I asked to get the normal portion of about 4 oz of chicken please. They added a little more and I was satisfied. That should have been the end of it.
At checkout they charged me double. I disputed it – general manager tells me they are very precise on their portions and his employee gave the right amount. Scolded me I was wrong and that next time I would be charged double. Makes me feel like I’m trying to steal.
I wanted to have him weigh the portion right then and there, I knew he was wrong. He told me that his store over-portions. He doesn’t have time.
Went home bothered by the managers tone and attitude, weighed the chicken, both bowls we under 3.5 oz of chicken protein. This is far from 8oz of protein he claimed i should be charged for – really not even at the 4oz I paid for.
I actually drove all way back to the store with pictures to talk to the manager, was given some pushback about how busy he was. Asked him to please sit down at a table with me to talk and he did. I told him he owed me an apology for giving me a hard time and acting like I was a chicken thief. He was still stand-offish, threw a sorry in and listened for a minute before scolding my volume (I was not yelling) and he just wanted me to leave and I did too.
General manager just didn’t care.
TERRIBLE! Will not go back until there is a new manager if ever.
