I used to love this place when it first opened. The wine selection was thoughtful, the prices were reasonable, the food was solid, and the service made it feel like a true neighborhood wine bar. It was one of my go-to spots.
Since being bought out by Woofgang, it’s completely different—and unfortunately not in a good way. The service is mediocre at best, the wine list no longer resembles what it once was, and the prices are shockingly high for the quality and options offered. There are very few good wine choices, especially considering the cost.
What really sealed it for me is the $50 corkage fee, which is higher than what many Michelin-star restaurants charge. That alone feels wildly out of touch with what this place currently delivers.
It’s disappointing to see a spot that once had so much potential lose its identity. I wanted to love it again, but it’s just not the same wine bar it used to be.

Very cute little lounge and wine bar with an upscale feel. Everything ordered (Buffalo Cauliflower, truffle fries, crab cakes) tasted absolutely delicious. The service needs to be a bit more attentive though friendly and accommodating. Went on a Friday evening and be warned, once the DJ starts, you will have difficulty having a conversation because the music is “party/club” loud. Overall a nice place to go if you want to step out for a good time with people you know.

It was ladies night and I was looking forward to enjoying the night. I made reservations online for 6pm. When I arrived I parked in the large plaza parking lot. I walked in and the host sat me in our reserved area. Our server was Kaylie and she wasn’t bad. She seemed to be overwhelmed at times but Sam the manager and Brian the bartender were there for us as well.
I didn’t order food but the girls ordered a plethora of different dishes which they really liked. I tried the chicken wings and it was good. For my drink I ordered the vodka tonic and it was good. The girls liked their food and drinks and it looked great.
The restaurant gave us a 2 1/2 hour seating time which was great. They had a duo musical group perform live and we really liked them. So the host came over and told us time was up and worked with us to separate our checks. Prices weren’t bad and we paid. We had a really good time and will be back.

I started going here a few years ago when the wine store was a part of the lounge. I would say service, food and drink quality were the best compared to what I have been experiencing since it was placed under new management and Wolfgang menu was introduced. The original staff were professional, knew a lot about drinks, friendly, had small conversations. Now they are so impersonal. I went this past weekend and most likely will be my last. I asked for an Old Fashioned and what I got was a glass of soot. There was so much orange, one freeze dried and another big fresh orange slice along with a number of cherries. It looked like sangria. A good bartender knows an Old Fashioned is not drink filled almost to the brim with liquid. It’s Bourbon, bitters, mottled cherry and slither of orange peel along with large ice cube. I drank half of the drink and left half. You can see it definitely was poorly made just by looking at the color. The bartenders also were not attentive, when we tried getting their attention we had to try numerous times only when I loudly spoke firmly did I get their attention. I don’t know if they were ignoring us or what. Definitely won’t be coming here again.

Wow. Went here a few years ago, and my word has everything changed and fallen off. New wine list with mass produced wines with extreme mark ups , service was absolutely horrible, to the point of walking up to the bar, where staff was drinking just to get attention. One of the best wine bars in NJ has fallen to extreme mediocrity. It was almost heart breaking. Will not be returning, I understand businesses have to make cuts and hard decisions to stay alive. But the soul of this place is gone

The ambiance is very upscale. We were seated in a very cozy nook that gave us plenty of privacy and was very comfortable. Love the decor, it’s very modern.
Service was excellent.
Food was very different and flavorful. We enjoyed our drinks also.
Definitely a place worth visiting.

Beautiful restaurant (attached to a liquor store) with an impressive wine list. It was our first time there and we had brunch and cocktails… everything was delicious and the service was great. We both had the Avocado Toast and we finished it off with a yummy espresso martini. We will definitely be back in the evening to try some dinner and drink some wine!

Celebrated my 40th with some wonderful girlfriends. Good ambiance and great decor. Food was amazing as usual. We ordered the kale salad, quinoa and beet saladx2, the chicken wings, figgy smalls x2 . Sadly the Chimchurri steak was sold out the from the previous night and that was my favorite thing to order here. Vast wine selection. I like how Max And Kelsey recommend wines to you and guests. The only thing I didn’t like was on the phone Kelsey mentioned that the charge for bringing in my own cake was $20, which is fine since they do have yummy desserts but I wanted my own cake. Unfortunately, our server max told me and my guests that the cake charge is now $25. I didn’t like that the manager changed the price from what was discussed on the phone the previous day. The cake was a beautiful 6” cake from a local bakery in the area . I support local and small businesses. Also they have the best chocolate on the charcuterie board we ordered. Wish I could find out where this chocolate is from. I would recommend coming here with friends and trying their wine collection.
