Very cute little Argentine coffee shop in Stratford. The signature dulce de leche latte is creamy, the various cakes and pastries are adorable, and the interior is gorgeous. Great place to sit and work or chat. On site parking as well.

Dulce de Leche Café in Stratford instantly wins you over with its welcoming atmosphere and truly authentic Argentine flavors. The star of the show is undoubtedly the sandwich de miga; the bread is impossibly soft and the crustless layers are fresh and delicate, offering a perfect texture that is hard to find elsewhere. You also can’t miss their empanadas, which are baked to golden perfection with a flaky crust and generous, savory fillings that are bursting with flavor. Whether you are looking for a light lunch or a hearty snack, everything here feels homemade and delicious, making it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area.

Great little niche bakery. I tried 4 different things and they were all excellent! The coffee/milk drink was only average due to not steaming the milk long enough.
So 5 stars for this place as it is a bakery/cafe primarily. Can’t wait to come back!

I moved in down the street and I was excited to try this place and find my “home bakery & cafe”. When I told the gentleman at the counter that I just moved here and he’ll probably see me a lot he responds back with a confused “okayyyy??”. I then asked for recommendations and he told me he doesnt know because he never actually tried anything. It looked like I was bothering him and he wanted absolutely nothing to do with a customer.
I now drive and find coffee and cute pastries vs walking 6 minutes.

I had high hopes for this place. The patisserie items looked delicious, but did not taste great. They had a shiny veneer that was sticky rather than crispy. Overall, the croissant was soft and unpleasant. The empanadas were not tasty, not crispy, and not fresh; they were old, reheated empanadas. Not great for a place I was excited to go to. The beef sandwich was quite nice, but the bread was low-quality, with a granular, friable texture rather than a crispy or weighty one.

Such a cute and amazing little gem in town! Came here for some fresh coffee and ordered a vanilla latte too which were smooth and delicious! They had such a great assortment of bakery items and desserts, handmade by the owner/chef and they were amazing and so beautifully decorated. Highly recommend it here!

I got a latte one day and it was great. I came back and tried an empanada and mate. The empanada was really good, the mate I didn’t like as much but I didn’t know what to expect and it just wasn’t my thing. I like that they also have bottled/canned drinks with stevia, as I don’t like to overdo it with sugar. I didn’t try the pastries but maybe next time I will.

I love the iced coffee here and my girlfriend is a big fan of the special dulce de leche drink. The coconut cake pop is also delicious. I’ve tried some of the other pastries and they’ve just been okay. The atmosphere is really lovely and while the outdoor seating area is small, it’s very peaceful. Oh and lastly prices are reasonable! I’ve been to so many overpriced coffee shops lately and this one outshines both in taste and cost! Go visit!

I finally took a walk over to my neighborhood cafe. It was so cute, the service was prompt and the baked goods looked delicious! Ordered an americano. Seating enough for about 15. Will definately come back for some empeñadas and desserts.
Update: try the empeñadas.. they’re deliciosa!
