We came here to pregame before an event at the uptown, as it was not too crowded and within a good walking distance. The drinks were tasty and we had a good time. There are pool tables and darts and a good amount of seating available.

Had my first visit yesterday and it’s instantly my new favorite dive. Four dart boards, the kind that can be used with metal tipped darts. Decorations are the best kind of chaotic. Lots of old school flair like a pay phone, CRT television, Garfield wall phone, old trophies and advertisements. I was too focused on darts to notice any other games. Bar tender was a friendly guy and it seemed the regulars really like him. Very chill on a Wednesday night.

Blarney is one of my favorite dive bars in the city. Love the dartboards, cheap drinks, and the old timey feel. All of the regulars here are awesome. Feels like a second home to me.

jake is one who doesn’t have a car;
john makes ya laugh, not yawn;
shaina, the sweetheart, can do no wrong;
and last, but not least, ted –
with the most beautiful hair on top of his head!
i think they’re all just great!
SO many selections, all perfection –
any drink ya ask for, they’ll (probably) make!
as much as i could go on and on—!

Visited KC last year and this little pub seemed to be the only thing open and how thankful my friend I were. Nothing fancy, but definitely full of character and characters. The bartender was super chill and was fun to converse with throughout the experience. This is a wonderful hole in the wall pub that highly recommend. A true slice of Midwest Americana. Shayna, the Thurs. night bartender is fantastic. Nice, attentive, smart, fast, and fun to talk to. It is a pleasure hanging out when she is behind the bar. Also the bartender Jake is cool and has a good sense of humor. The place overall gets 3 stars, but these 2 servers deserve props!

Ted SUCKS!! Gave him $100 bill for a $45 tab and he kept the change. He is a very pompous, arrogant and talks horrible about all patrons that go into this bar. He is a horrible bartender and I believe part owner. Steer clear of Ted aka Ted Bundy. He cheats customers and again speaks loudly and rudely about patrons who have been coming into this bar for 20+ years.

This is my absolute favorite neighborhood dive bar. The atmosphere is everything I want in a place. The lighting is dim, bar has it’s regulars that invite you in, darts, pinball and arcardes for entertainment, and the bartenders are sassy yet superb. I can go in there any night of the week and know that Kori and Ted will take care of me. Would recommend that all of my friends should go and give them bartenders some sass right back!
