Me and my wife just recently moved to Salem and decided to eat here on our first night out. We got there at 6pm and ordered drinks and our food at about 6:10. Our waitress told us we were cutting it close to closing but she said we still had plenty of time to order. We proceeded to wait for 45 minutes and she asked us if we wanted our food boxed because it was closing time and we said yes and waited another 15 minutes and we got up and went to the front out of frustration. She then told us we didn’t owe any money for our drinks and that they didn’t have enough time to make our food for 45 minutes. I don’t think she even placed our order and we wasted an hour of our Friday night for nothing, we will not be returning again.

This hands down has the best wings this side of America! Fast, friendly and courteous staff! Food was hot and delicious! If you haven’t been then you are missing out. And if you are just traveling by Salem Missouri and looking for a bite to eat I would recommend this place100/10. It is a people friendly place. They offere lots of menu items and drinks as well. Just because its a “bar” they DO have no alcohol friendly drinks as well that are absolutely delicious! First picture is original bbq wings, 2nd is garlic Parm and the 3rd is mini tacos all of which I purchased here at the Local!

I don’t say this lightly — these were the best wings I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and tossed in a sauce that struck the ideal balance between flavor and heat. Every bite was addicting. You can tell they care about quality here — not just with the food, but with the entire experience.
The service? Phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and treated like regulars. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do.
