My husband and I kept seeing the TikTok post. I decided to give them a try. I walked and and the view should have been a warning. We ordered the Turkey wing dinner with cabbage and yams. Meatloaf with cabbage and corn. I was highly disappointed with my meal totally. I don’t know what meat the meatloaf was made of; it did not taste like beef. My husband told me the best part of his meal was the yams. The cabbage very crunchy (nice cut i admit). I don’t like my cabbage baby food consistency. This establishment did not meet my expectations at all. Will not patronize again.

So the food is over rated we had some of everything. The best thing was the fried chicken fried pork chops and gizzards and livers, and sweet potatoes. The service was going good until the owner’s daughter. I started being rude. It was a clean place even though it was a gas station. The best part of it was we met the daughter of the original cook of the location. Now the owner did apologize for his daughter’s rudeness and so did the mother and he gave us a bottle of hot sauce for her attitude. I will be back for the Gizzards and Livers.

The food was fresh and hot. I really enjoyed it. It was a great selection. If you could find something there you could not be hungry. Wonderful price and large portions. Customer service was really good and on time. Two people offered assistance and the helper at the cash register did an awesome job of helping. It was enough parking even though what looks like the regular customers were coming and going, I certainly understand. I will be back again.

I always went there because I liked the chicken livers and potatoe wedges, but I was beginning my good health journey so one day I just asked what type of oil they use to cook their food. I am guessing the owner, a short white man yelled confidently “CHEAP, THE CHEAPEST OIL I CAN FIND!” I wanted some cabbage, so I just asked how do they make the cabbage because I know some people make it with pork and I don’t eat pork. He comes down from where he was sitting and he starts getting mad and says “THE SAME WAY EVERYBODY ELSE MAKES IT. WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU. I DON’T HAVE TO TELL HOW I MAKE MY FOOD!” So I asked what’s wrong with you? I am just asking. He yells again, “I DON’T HAVE TO TELL ANYBODY HOW I MAKE MY FOOD!” On that note, I just walked out and haven’t been back since. Not even for gas. So if you care about your health, don’t eat that food. Because apparently he doesn’t care.

The staff is great, the owners are humble, and the food man you have to try the food doesn’t matter what it is just grab something. And they always have everything you need from tobacco products, to food to household items this is a legit convenience store.

Turned me off to gizzards. Never again. Found a hairy chew mass amongst my order. Threw away about 90% of my order. Was nauseous for the next 2 days. Still nauseous some 3 weeks later when I think about it. Tapped out for life.

I had been seeing on tic toc and thought I would go and find this establishment.. I got gizzards and wedges and they were the best gizzards ever, seasoned to perfection and wedges were fresh and hot.10/10 Highly recommend!!
