Really enjoyed what I’ve eaten here every time I’ve visited. The staff are friendly and serve things up right. This time I had the German-style döner and my friend had the Mediterranean pesto chicken rice plate. We also ordered the House Cheese Rolls. Everything was cooked really well, super flavorful, and reminded me of some local spots in Turkey that I loved frequenting. Last time I had the Döner plate, which I really loved as well. Overall enjoyed my meal and highly recommend!

This was the best döner I had in the KC area! The döner plate is as close as you get to İskender! Really amazing baklava, handmade and small batch! The baklava was the freshest baklava I have ever had in the US (in the past 15 years! ) . Overall really great experience! I wish they had more real Turkish spicy toppings! All in good time!

We had the pesto chicken rice and the doner wrap, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were amazing and the food was so satisfying. So glad to have Turkish cuisine in the KC area! Authentic Döner, wraps, and coffee. My Mediterranean wrap had delicious flavor, and my husband’s Döner was super fresh! They had our coffee done in seconds and our food was ready in under 5 minutes. Can’t wait to come back!

The Mediterranean doners are delicious. Service is quick and friendly. Food is freshly made to order. We go to Lenexa Public market just so I can get those! Atmosphere is ok. Seating can be limited at times. Good location for picky eaters because everyone can choose a different restaurant. Personally, it’s Doners Everytime lol

The food here was definitely fresh, but the overall experience was just average for me. They put a lot of sauce on the kebab, and the flavor was overwhelmingly garlicky and one-dimensional. Also, the meat isn’t shaved off a vertical pit like you’d expect at most doner places; instead, it tasted like it had been sitting in a heating tray for a while, which made it less appealing. Not a terrible meal, but there are better options if you’re after authentic doner flavor.

Amazing experience!! I’m in Kansas City for work and decided to make the 40 min drive just to try this place and it was one of the best decisions I made on this trip! The food and service were both 10/10. Tried the traditional wrap, the chicken bulgar pilaf, and the dolma, and everything was super fresh and full of flavor. Finished with a cup of Turkish coffee and wow… it was the perfect ending. Definitely worth the drive thanks to Sami and his mom!!!
