This is a new restaurant at Houma and everything is so great here! I highly recommend the ice cream shakes and the fries. The ice cream shakes are made with real ice cream and all real ingredients whipped cream cherry on top! The fries are thick cut and grape flavoring with the seasoning on them. Great atmosphere with a real working piano and jukebox too. Lots of seating in here and really great decor with a 50s look and kind of a diner type feel to it. There’s even a game room that is all working order. Skee ball machines, pinball machines, Pac-Man and more. There’s also a private party room that’s a large room that you can sit in with a large party of people. The burgers are freaking awesome! Huge burgers! I will always recommend this place and I will always go back here because it’s just really great food and great atmosphere and the wait staff is always really nice!

Nice place with a kind of diner feel and a classic movies theme. The best part was the root beer float. The kid behind the counter told me they were working on their own root beer, which is interesting. As to the burger, it was okay. I appreciate that they put some thought into the bun (brioche), which a lot of places ignore. I was very disappointed in the bacon, which was comparable to the cheap bacon they used they use at Burger King. Also, I’m pretty sure my pepper jack cheese was just regular jack. Overall it was a decent burger, but a little more effort could have made it great. I’ll probably go again at some point.

Such a quaint little place! Everyone there was extremely nice. Food was delicious, especially their fries! Games were the perfect distraction for my little boy while waiting.

Best place to eat.!!! the hamburger and fries was the best burger and fries we ever had .There shakes or totally awesome they make their own ice cream. We also had a Elvis impersonator there. The manager she was so helpful.!! And always smilingVery happy and to make sure we where very pleased. All the employees were also friendly it was our first time there and we will definitely be back.!! will definitely recommend to all our family and friends.!!!!!

Quick Service; polite and helpful staff; our cheeseburgers were very good. They were not overly seasoned, you could actually taste the 1/2 pounder angus beef, which I liked.They offered a burger that was spicy, but I enjoyed the classic.They were really juicy. They didn’t have fries yet, but chips were fine with me. We will definitely go back. It seems to be family friendly.

Positives that give them 2 stars:
-service was quick for my large family of 7.
-Plenty of seating that was not segregated from the rest of the people as usual.
-staff was helpful and polite
-grilled cheese were huge (1 can feed 2 small kids)
Negatives:
-kinda pricey for what was received
-burgers were “off” in flavor and texture. I could not identify what the problem was, but as a man whose favorite food is the iconic and standard American cheese burger (nothing fancy) I was quite disappointed.
-1/2 pound burger did not taste like beef. Ratios appeared ideal visually but flavor was non-existent
-no “combos” to lower the price for the people wanting a Burger-chips-drink

The 1st time we order it was the best burgers loved their pepper jelly. We liked them so much 4 days later we ordered again except they changed their menu.. umm well now to say the least the new menu is bland.. it taste like every other burger at diners..

Wish I could give zero stars. The food came out in a reasonable time but we didn’t get the drinks until after everyone was done eating, and my daughter is a super slow eater. We still didn’t get them until we went up to the counter to ask for them and asked for them in cups to go. The rootbeer floats came out first, then they made the milkshake. When they made the milkshake and poured it in the go cup, it didn’t fill half the cup. Fortunately they did the right thing and made more to fill the cup more. Apparently the cups in the restaurant must be pretty small.
If the burger didn’t have toppings on it, it wouldn’t have had any flavor at all. Also, it had an odd texture. We eat burgers at home a lot (since my wife loves burgers and make delicious burgers), and the texture was NOT that of a 100% beef burger. Maybe our experience was unusual. I always try to give a new place the benefit of the doubt and a second chance. I won’t be coming back, but to give them the benefit of the doubt, wait to see other reviews before you take a chance of repeating our experience.
