I ordered The Works with onion rings and my girl ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger with tots at 10:30pm. Absolutely mind blowing!! This place will forever be in my heart now, both because of the service and the food. The owner, Brett, is a good guy. He came up and checked up on us a couple times to make sure we’re okay. They also own the bar next door which is cool. The kitchen closes at 12am but the bar stays open. And definitely ask for the bottle opener! Trust me!!

I ordered to go on uber eats, and I’m a vegan so I ordered four different options to try. First of all the burger with the mushroom was the best thing on the vegan menu. I really enjoyed it and the tater tots. The burger with the thousand island was just okay. Nothing special. The vegan hot dog was absolutely terrible. The texture was so off putting I couldn’t even eat it. It also had a weird after taste. Lastly, the vegan nuggets were burnt on the outside and mushy on the inside. Whoever cooked this it seemed like an after thought. It seemed like they just didn’t even care to make it taste good. I would not come back here solely for the burger. Nice burger has way better burgers and way more vegan options.

I definitely fell in love with the store and the workers, everyone there is very nice and lots of fun! It’s a very laid back spot and the workers get to enjoy what they do. I decided to try the works burger and it was pretty good! Only problem was it fell apart half way through eating it. I also wasn’t a fan of how big the portobello mushroom slices are. The onion rings were perfection! I just wish I got bigger pieces than I did, for the extra money I spent for onion rings I only got four thin pieces. However, I will be coming back to try this place again! Prices are pretty fair and the service is amazing, plus the food is pretty good! so why not?

I got a very yummy mushroom and Swiss burger here! Loved it! Fries good too!!! No soda fountain drinks but enjoyed a good old fashioned coke in a glass bottle. I dined in and noticed a lot of people get delivery or pick up so it was not crowded inside. Staff was nice and helpful. All good!!!

Hands down the best burger spot in DTLB. The prices are reasonable (huge plus), hopefully they don’t hike them anytime soon.
Sideburns does not disappoint. Super friendly staff and incredible burgers! Alex my server and cashier was very friendly, something that is hard to come by these days.

I am rating based off of my full transparent experience. The service was fairly solid but man ooh man the food was unfortunately a disaster. The burgers and Nashville chicken sandwich were both insanely salty the only item out of the bunch we ordered that was decently edible were the fries. Both my lady and I could not eat the sandwich or burger past 3 bites and unfortunately I ended up with temporary food poisoning and throwing up for the majority of night. Not sure if this is just an off night at the joint or the quality is not good as the reviews reflect.

The smashed burger was not as good as before The service was fast. I ordered through Uber Eats.I have previously placed an order at this establishment, thinking that I enjoyed their food. However, upon further reflection, it is possible that my positive opinion was influenced by hunger. The quality of the burger has deteriorated, with the meat tasting like frostbite. The smash hamburger caused me to become ill, resulting in diarrhea and a stomach virus. This could be due to the patty not being cooked thoroughly or possibly being contaminated. Such a situation is completely unacceptable, and I believe it is necessary to notify the health department. Additionally, the onion rings, priced at nine dollars, were disappointing as the ranch dressing doesn’t taste good and did not enhance the flavor. The onion rings soggy . The overall experience of paying $33 for the burger and onion rings was not worth it. Consequently, I have decided not to order from this place again.

One tasty burger! Meet was cooked right and delicious. Service was good and came out pretty quick. Atmosphere was alright. Next time I’m in the LBC I’m stopping by no doubt.

I went with my gf Thursday, Aug 21, around 9 PM. I really wanted to like this place but it was really disappointing. There were cockroaches on the walls snd my gf refused to eat the food.

They never get my order right. I’ve gone there more than a handful of times and my order was wrong every time. I liked the food so I kept going and the mistakes weren’t that big but the last one was too big to ignore. They gave my son meat he asked for vegan and he bit into it. Very awful for him and that’s it not going there anymore. You have to get the orders right. It was every time which seems impossible, like they were doing it on purpose, how can you get the orders wrong every time.
