Okay, hear me out—Nashville has plenty of Mexican spots, but this new place? It’s seriously taking the cake. The ambiance is cozy yet spacious, and the vibes are just right for a chill night out. My only gripe? The lighting inside at night is way too dim. I saw more than a few flashlights out just to read the menu—myself included. But now that you’re prepared, let’s get into the good stuff.
The service was on point! Our server was friendly, informative, and made sure we understood the 2-for-1 Tuesday special. He also hyped up their taco of the month (rightfully so). The food came out fast, and everything we ordered hit the spot. The chopped salad is great for sharing or works as a hearty solo meal. And you have to try the Chicken Tinga and Beefy Crunch tacos—packed with flavor and far from basic.
The music kept a good vibe—recognizable but not overpowering—and perfect for conversation. Parking’s either street (free) or a paid gravel lot across the street. Would love to see a collab with the paved lot nearby, though.
They’ve got outdoor seating that’s calling my name for margaritas on a sunny day. The crowd’s already catching on, and once they tweak that nighttime lighting? I might just bump this to 5 stars.
I added photos, but trust me—those tacos taste even better than they look. Can’t wait to run this back soon!
The vibe? Flawless. The service? Top-tier. And the tacos? Hands down, the best I’ve ever had in my life—and I don’t say that lightly. I eat tacos every single day, and nothing compares to the bold flavors and perfect execution at Dos Santos. Every dish is a knockout.
Massive shoutout to Lexi, the manager, who is an absolute rockstar. She’s always on top of it, always welcoming, and always making sure everything runs like clockwork. Her attention to detail and genuine care for the customer experience take things to another level.
Huge respect to the entire Dos Santos team. You all crushed it. Dos Santos is a gift to Nashville and a must-visit for anyone who appreciates passion, flavor, and hospitality done right.
Our food took a VERY long time to get to us, and when it was finally delivered, our food order was wrong. Which was interesting since they have a very limited menu of tacos and quesadillas. A gentleman brought our food, and once we told him 2/3 tacos were wrong he said he would check with the kitchen, and be back. Once he returned he apologized, and the food would be out shortly. We were so hungry, we begged for the one taco that was right, but we’re told no as it was a health code violation… fair enough.
We waited an additional 25 mins after waiting for 45 mins after our initial order. Throughout this time our waitress never came back and followed up with us on how everything was. However, I think she could tell we were ready to go, as I think she saw me scanning the room for her. She came over with our full ticket, which included the tacos we never received. When I let her know that, she was in shock, and said “you didn’t get ANY of your food”, which again she would have known that had she’d taken the time to check-in. She only removed the tacos, and came back with a coupon for “our next visit”, stating she’d hope we’d give them another chance. The coupon was a BOGO drink, with the purchase of a drink and a full entrée. I personally thought there could have been more of an apology, or compensation, given we waited over an hour with no food. We thought the service was very poor, and there was not a lot of effort into making our experience better, or even a real apology provided.
