I have never been so pleased with a food experience in my entire life. My husband and I are avid Chinese food eaters. We’ve tried just about every restaurant. I went in to Top China and ordered a few different things off the menu that I get from every restaurant and I’m beyond impressed! The food was still hot by the time I finished driving 30 minutes home. The food was absolutely delicious. My new favorite is the Mongolian beef that was given to us extra. It was spicy but delicious! Definitely my new favorite restaurant and will come back again.

This place has new ownership? I ordered wings and beef with vegetables lunch special that total to $16.66, on the menu it listed (4) wings. When I got to my office, I noticed that there were not 4 wings instead 2 wings they cut in pieces and a piece of drum bone to make it look like they gave me more. On top of that these wings they are damn salty. My other order was beef with vegetables that I order it had too much sauce and not even edible, I was hungry so I ate most of the rice and beef but it really taste disgusting. I just throw the rest away. I would never buy here again. And it’s crazy they have a nerve to call it NY style – their food was totally garbage as seen on the picture. Also, their place stinks, that’s probably what they meant NY style of smell….

Worst Chinese food in Tampa. Weird dirty white rice. Chicken on a stick is extremely low quality yellow curry chicken.. at a “chinese” restaurant. Sesame chicken is just the yellow curry chicken with sesame sauce on it. HOW IS THIS PLACE OPEN?!

Simple Chinese fast food. No frills. A little slow. I placed a phone order, I showed up after 20 minutes and it took them another 5+ minutes to get it ready. There was one other customer waiting for food.
General’ chicken was sub par. There was no broccoli! The chicken was a bit fatty. No crisp. Crab Rangoon was obviously cheap and frozen. Prices were on par but the food was not.

I always looked forward to Top China’s food when traveling to Tampa. It used to be really good. The quality has gone downhill. There is no quality anymore. I don’t know if it’s new owners, or what. I do know the food was terrible. The place smells really bad too! If I hadn’t paid before picking up the order, I would have never gotten food from them.

I get times are hard now but staff at Top China adding their own tip amount to a paid bill is unacceptable, period!
I was a first time customer here a few days ago and I ordered two meals from the lunch menu for me and my wife. The food was horrible and I tasted freezer burn on meat. The rice was hard and bland. My wife’s dish was so bad she just threw it away. I didn’t complain just wanted to leave and find somewhere else to eat because we was strapped for time.
The meal cost me $17.74 plus a $5.00 tip I put in the cash jar. (This was paid upfront before the food was prepared) I paid with card and on the receipt I put cash in the tip area because I already tipped in cash. Today my card was charged an additional $5.00 bringing my total to $22.74!
It’s not the money but the principal, these thieves added a tip that was not Authorized by me. Watch out and check your statements you might be surprised.
UPDATE: Since contacting Top China was pointless, Cash App support took care of it.
And FYI pretty sure those reviews about Top China having good food is 100% BOGUS

The food tasted very bad and smelled bad. As I continued eating I discovered pork in my shrimp fried rice. Rice was over cooked, heavily salted but absolutely no flavor. The pork egg roll was burnt. My daughter’s shrimp lo mein was bland. I couldn’t even finished the meal it was so bad. Not worth the money.
