Affordbale Mexican Cuisine
There are not many choices for dining in Lewisport but I have always gone to this Los Nopales when I’m in the area. This is a very well-run restaurant with great staff and affordable menu options. On my last visit, I tried the Tacos de Asada con Chorizo, Three Tacos with Corn Tortillas with Asada and Chorizo. Since I had a long drive ahead of me I needed something filling but not too heavy and these tasty tacos hit the spot. If you’re in the Lewisport area and looking for dining options give this Los Nopales a try.

Was ok . Ordered fajitas. Mix of steak/carnitia/chicken/shrimp . I do think that all 4 together was not my best idea. Kinda oily or ? and I guess the steak marinade ? made everything taste the same. I think the items are cooked separately and then added together with onions and bell pepper , etc . Then all grilled together for heat and serve . Wish the flavors were separated in some way . Otherwise, it’s not my worst meal .

One of the best quesadillas I have ever had, hands down. There was so much steak in it, it wouldn’t hardly fold. Their queso was on point as it appears to have goat cheese with it. It was amazing. The Mexican rice was very tasty.

I’m a truck driver and have been to many Mexican restaurants all over the country from California to New Jersey, and I must say that Los Nopales is by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, Easily! I highly suggest trying the Alisons burrito, it’s amazing

The prices here at this restaurant are outrageous. Had a nacho platter for lunch and it was over 20 bucks. The server was lost he took our drink order 3 times. And we didn’t get drinks for 20 minutes. Was not at all impressed with the food or service at this establishment at all. When the check came i had to look at it several times to make sure I didn’t have 3 porterhouse steaks or something the bill was way over what I expected. So if u go to eat here better make sure u take lots and lots of money.

This place may look like a Mexican restaurant, but the food, or at least my food, was far from it.
The ground burger looked like it came from the local Taco Bell. The flavor was not far off from it, but it was worse.
I can not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
