Ordered lox bagels on Uber Eats. Description states that it includes tomato, lettuce, onion and capers. Received an untoasted bagel with a small about of cream cheese and one slice of lox, no accoutrements. They were very nice in explaining why it was actually Uber’s fault but at the end of the day I get no refund or the food that I ordered. This store and UberEats lack honor

Most days the bagels taste fresh & are even warm. Today the garlic bagel I had tasted like it was made yesterday. I’ve been coming here a long time & lately it’s hit & miss. Additionally if you ask for one of the smaller containers of the flavored cream cheese you get directed to the fridge case. When I told the guy behind the counter that I was looking for the smaller containers he turned on his heel mumbling his annoyance with me so loudly that the owner who was in the back asked what happened. Please don’t give people attitude when they are trying to patronize a business that pays you to do a job!

Paid $12 for a Bec egg and cheese and they have the audacity to charge an extra $1.50 for American cheese. Meanwhile they don’t give enough bacon for the price. We wanted ketchup on it and it came plain. Either they don’t care about their DoorDash customers or they just don’t care in general.

Original review – This is our first time actually getting from hole lot of bagels, I ordered a lightly toasted onion bagel with scallion cream cheese. This bagel was delicious. Nothing was left I ate the crumbs! The people serving today were immensely nice, wonderful and professional, and the food was just spectacular. You guys at hole lot of bagels have two brand new customers!
Update – 08/02/2025
Today felt like night and day from the above review. We asked for the bagels to be lightly toasted, they were nearly burnt. They put on perhaps 1/5th of the cream cheese they did the last time. Barely anything. If in the future things are better I will change my score back.

I am very happy to say, that today is the day where they did good by me once more. Nothing extra special or out of the way, just done the way they did it the first time and everything was amazing. I happily give back the few Stars I removed.

We get bagels here 5 days a week. The BEST! The sliced lox and cream cheese sandwich is the best around. My daughter and I get them once a week. The coffee is top notch as well.

I have been coming to this Hole Lot of Bagels store for years! It’s my weekly Saturday trip ! They are truly amazing!! They have the best bagels too!! The bagels are always fresh and I buy a dozen every week and they are part of my son’s breakfast everyday! The sandwiches are made with a lot of love and filled with a ton of meat for a great price!! The eggs, cheese, and bacon always freshly made!! The whole lot of grain is delicious!! It’s my absolute favorite! Along with all with cream cheese options!! They have the most amazing staff who always greet you with a smile and just treat you like family! When my son was in the hospital at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, his one request was that we Hole Lot of bagels!! Also, I have catered from them multiple times and have always received RAVE reviews!! Lisa is amazing to work with and helps with everything to do with catering! Most recently I’ve catered for a large group of events and the experience was incredible. Everyone loved their bagels muffins and assorted cream cheese!! She knows what you event needs! They truly are family business that once you go one time you will never want to go anywhere else!! They are that part of Middletown business that I love!!

I paid $14 for one pork roll egg and cheese. I even asked for less egg. I also had an Alani in my hand (an energy drink) that they were trying to sell for 5 bucks. Insanity. The workers are rude too. They don’t care about pleasing the customer. Just looking to clear your pockets. Don’t come here!!
