Most of the time, I will order my meal at the counter, pick up any condiments from the station, and then find a place to sit down. The food comes out hot and fresh.

Again, another ridiculous experience. No one to actual come to your table and take your order. So you look things over before hand and then they seat you. Daughter decides on pancakes from the ALL DAY BREAKFAST portion of the kids menu. We are then told even though it says that, the kitchen won’t do breakfast all day….. COME ON! I’ve given this place 3 chances now and everytime it has been garbage. The Grocery store portion is great. The market grill is a joke.

In town for a wedding and thought we’d have a simple breakfast at Market Grille. We love the one in Marshall MN. Apparently too difficult to get two eggs, hash browns and toast right. After 45 minutes of waiting we asked about our order only to learn “something happened to our order”. She wanted us to reorder. This is the same person who never even checked on us once or brought water. We left. Will not be back or recommend this restaurant.

The service started out slowly, but they made up for it with free chips and salsa. We enjoyed all-you-can-eat wings and fries for $10. The fries were the best I’ve had, and I’m not a fry guy. Great tap and app selection. Come for the deals, you’ll leave happy!

Super disappointed. We love the Market Grille on the east side of town and this one had terrible service. It took way too long for service and food, no water refills, we weren’t offered dessert even though the kids menu includes it, and then our bill was wrong. I’m usually really understanding but there were literally two tables of people there. Needless to say we won’t be back.

So, I’m seeing a few bad reviews and, no offense, but that’s just wrong. This market grill is wonderful! Big, fresh, delicious breakfast, reasonably priced, quickly served – our absolute fave place in town. Service is a little slow at lunch time but – c’mon folks, it’s the grocery store, give em a break. Highly recommended.

I wasn’t impressed. There was no one in the actual restaurant to take your order and the menu at the checkout didn’t seem to include everything they would otherwise offer. My experience was further frustrated when they tried to overcharge me by claiming that I could only get one free child meal even though we had two adult meals. I literally had to walk them over to their own sign where it said you got a free child’s meal with each adult meal.
Hy-Vee, I get what you are trying to do, and we were more than willing to give it a try, but don’t bother if you are not going to do it right. You are just wasting space in your store. Why bother paying for all the taps and the bar if you don’t have anyone that can sell me a beer?

First time was SO good! Now a brand new menu which literally got rid of everything any good. Food was super bland. Just unfortunate. However, my kids liked their plates.
