This is a milky shaved ice dessert place, and it’s definitely worth trying once as it’s a pretty unique flavor / texture. I really enjoyed my first Snowy Village experience in Renton (The Landing) but I learned that the Bellevue location is not associated to the Renton one. We always make the mistake of trying to order 1 for each of us but the shave ice desserts are big enough to share for 2 people (even adults). I still like the Renton location better – the shaved ice tasted better and they had more toppings. The last time I went here, there was a piece of paper in my shaved ice. also, parking is tight in this lot.

We first tried Snowy Village at the Night Market in Seattle’s Chinatown and loved it, so we stopped by the Bellevue location the next day. The Korean shaved ice was just as delicious… fresh, soft, and flavorful.
That said, the overall customer experience could be warmer. As someone who also works in the service industry, I really value when guests are greeted or acknowledged, and that part felt missing here. The dessert itself was amazing but the lack of connection and hospitality would probably keep me from coming back to this location.

First time trying korean shaved icecream, I tried the mango bingsoo and it was delicious! The shaved ice melts in your mouth and is not sweet at all, the mango is what gives it flavor.

One of the best desserts I’ve ever had – the mango bingsu! With very fresh mangoes it tastes heavenly! Loved it, would highly recommend mango bingsu from this place

We tried the Mango and Taro and both were 10/10. So many people writing one star reviews because of the wait time… it is about 30 min wait time but this is normal. Everyone is low staffed and they are doing their best. They have to custom make every single order so yes, it takes time. Can’t wait to return.

The servings for the shaved ice is very big. The Oreo shaved ice is really good and even the ice is sweet. Same with the watermelon shaved ice. They also provide free water if you think the shaved ice is too sweet. The decor in the store is also very aesthetic and pretty.

The taro one is amazing, even a small cup is more than enough for 2 people to share. The lady helping us today is very kind. She brought out 2 pup cups to offer my dogs, I was pleasantly surprised. There’s a membership which is very affordable ($10/month) and comes with perks and freebies. I’m gonna sign up for it.

Korean style shaved ice shop. Minimal style decor, self order kiosk, convenience.
Came in the afternoon on weekday. Many customers in the house but not busy, managed to get a table without waiting.
Many flavors to choose. My favorite was Mango, ordered large size, abit too much for 2 persons. Also black sesame in medium size, right size for 2. Overall tastes good and feeling warm and cozy. Would come back for another flavors next time.

Snowy Village is definitely the go-to spot for bingsu in Bellevue. The bingsu itself is fantastic—light, not overly sweet, and topped with super fresh fruit. It’s also not too heavy on the milk flavor, which keeps it refreshing.
While the service wasn’t the best when we were there, it wasn’t bad enough to ruin the experience. The quality of the dessert more than makes up for it. If you’re in the mood for a great bingsu, I’d still highly recommend giving this place a try!

Great Korean shave ice! The desserts are big enough to share, though my partner and I each got one since we wanted to try different flavors. Their paper menu at the front door is a bit different than the ordering screen (I didn’t see some flavors from the paper menu, and some flavors were sold out) so be aware of that. We got ended up getting Oreo and taro. Both were good but the taro had more interesting toppings and flavor.
