I’ve been here a couple times now. I must say they brew a hell of a cup man! I wanted to give them 5 stars because they deserve it. However great the medium roast Ethiopian was today, I asked for the biggest cup they have and the guy handed me what I’m pretty sure was a 12 oz cup. Now, either he made a mistake and gave me a small or the biggest cup they offer is only 12 oz. Which in my personal opinion, is not enough. I think they should offer more size options for the drip coffee at the very least.

My wife and I are certified coffee snobs. We are the kind of folks who care about the art, technique, and quality around our coffee. When we heard the founder of Star City was back in town launching a new shop, I knew we had to try it. And let me say, we were not disappointed!
The coffee is on another level. It’s clear that Wanderlust cares about its quality, consistency, and flavor. It’s one of the few places in town I never leave disappointed; I always get the fix I came for. I really appreciate is that the coffee is roasted in-house; like — you can watch and smell it being roasted if you come in at the right time. The other big thing I appreciate is the owner’s commitment to consistency in how the drinks are made. I once was chatting with him in the entryway; he heard something off with how a new employee was steaming milk. Right away he excused himself and took a moment to offer guidance; it was important for him to ensure his customer got what they came for!
The atmosphere/environment is exactly what you’d want in a local coffee shop. The place is filled with eclectic and unique art, furniture pieces, and lighting; it’s all very North Pacific artsy. The music is always great too. I regularly discover new music artist during my visits. The regulars there also contribute to a warm and friendly environment. Like — if you’re new in town and need friends, I’d highly recommend visiting a few times; you’re bound to find a new life long friend!
The staff are incredible. As a work from home employee, I don’t see a lot of people throughout my days. The Wanderlust staff have kind of filled the co-worker/water station chat void in my life lol. They are all really great folks who seem to take genuine interest in your life when given the opportunity. They always seem to remember my name, ask about my family, and other more random things.

I loveeeeeee this place! It’s an amazing place to study and get off of campus for college students, with nice cozy vibes and lots of natural light. The coffee is super good, and I love getting a latte in a mug because most of the staff is able to do really nice latte art. Me and my roommate love coming here to lock in on weekends, since it actually is open on both Saturday and Sunday. I would definitely recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried!

We are so glad to find another delicious coffee in a great coffee spot in Lafayette. Displays not only offers great quality coffee, but they also roast their own. Huge seating selection, which would be a good place for students to come and study, and also a great place to do meetings or be with friends and family. They also support local businesses offering different bakery items from local bakeries. Make sure to come and check this place out.

Great new addition to downtown Lafayette. Coffee was well made and the service was very friendly. Prices are pretty standard for a coffee shop. They have completely remodeled the interior, giving it a very cozy feel with lots of seating available across two rooms. Will definitely be back!

This is a cool coffee shop with a kind of hip atmosphere. It’s quite cozy with lots of little places to sit and the window frontage is quite large. I enjoyed a macchiato and found it to be quite nice and creamy. I’d definitely give their other beverages a try. Stop by if you’re downtown.

Driving through on a road trip and detoured here for some coffee. We had high hopes. The drinks were certainly made correctly and the staff very friendly. We are coffee snobs and found the coffee perhaps a little too dark for our liking. It was good, smooth, but just not the flavor profile we appreciate. That said 90 percent of people will find this wonderful so go and try it for yourself. The location is nice and ambiance good. Business people, college students, and the lady next door all come here!

I traveled from Chicago and needed a place to study, and I found this place. All I can say is, I WISH this place was closer to where I live so I can come in every day!! The vibes are IMMACULATE and I felt so motivated & pumped to work. The decor is cute, and the staff was super friendly. The drinks were also really good. I had gotten an iced matcha latte and it was just what I needed to keep me going. In case I’m ever in the area again, this place has been bookmarked as a place to re-visit!
