This tiny place may not look like much from the outside, and it ain’t the Ritz in the inside… but damn can they make Mexican food. I only eat halal meat, so when I eat out, I only eat as a pescatarian. Before your meal comes you’re given chips and salsa. The chips are good and the salsa is absolutely perfect. I asked to take some home. The Rice, beans, and grilled fish with flour tortillas on the side was delicious! All downed with a can’t go wrong Mexican coke. I was just passing through Fillmore, so this was a nice find. 5 Stars.

Found this restaurant on a whim. Glad I did. 1st was the awesome smell when I walked in. Nice menu, just enough not to overwhelm you. I ordered the chile relleno plate. Best I’ve tasted, with a sauce that included red an green bell peppers and onions with fried Japanese chiles. Great beans as well. On my way through Fillmore I will be stopping by

This place has the best tripas! They’re always served fresh and crispy ! I live in Santa Clarita, but I drive through Fillmore a couple times a month and each time I stop in Fillmore for some tripas tacos !! The customer service is awesome too. Must try this place !

Waitress was nice and respectful. I ordered a drink but they brought something else. Meatballs were not made fresh. They were purchased frozen and warmed up.

Yes the food was fresh, it was made to order. I waited the 20 minutes for two plates of food, when I got my food I was very disappointed. The flautas were crunchy like toquitos, the enchiladas were flavorless. The meat was tough, beans were runny and the rice almost tasted like ketchup. I smothered everything in salt hoping it would be edible but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. The packaging for the food was also broken and the sour cream and what not was runny and hot. Won’t come here again but the people working were super friendly
