The food is better than average but not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. My meal was very good though.
The chips were likely bagged (and that’s okay)
The salsa was fresh, regardless of whether it was made in house, it was tasty and had the right amount of flavor in the right places. The lime was a really nice touch.
I would recommend just having standard chips and salsa.
I’m pretty sure the queso was just Tostitos brand queso straight out of the jar and at $6 for a small bowl, it seemed pricey.
The Chile relleno was as good as I’ve had from most restaurants. It’s easy to recommend, but realistically, by the time I got my food after the chips and salsa it was hard to appreciate the rice, beans, and guacamole that came on my plate.
The servings are big, so have some self control and don’t eat too many chips.
The $3 (I think) soft taco….man 2-3 of those would be a great meal.
I definitely ordered too much food.
I felt like everything other than the queso was a excellent value. The soda was priced fairly, and served in a big cup.
Overall, part of the reason for a 5/5 was that it’s attached to the truck stop I stayed at.
If this restaurant were in a bigger city or a strip mall I probably would have given it a respectable 4/5.

Ate here when visiting for a basketball tournament. The enchiladas were really good! The margaritas was great.

Have been here a few times, food is just ok, nothing to tell anybody about, and service is about the worst, the LAST time we were there was the last! Had about 8 dirty tables and no silverware with 6-9 employees standing around on there phones! Our food took forever to get and was delivered to us without anything to eat it with! Just go somewhere else, trying the same thing over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity don’t eat here!

Great atmosphere and great service, but the food is lacking. Being so close to Houston, I’d expect the restaurant to serve homemade tortillas, but unfortunately, they are store bought (or at least taste like such). The fajita chicken or rice was nothing to write home about either, and the chips were really thick/hard, but I will say the onions that came with the fajitas were seasoned very well. I also appreciated the lunch menu options, which made lunch more affordable for us.

The guy who was our server was young , he did try.
I ordered the mushroom and Swiss. I was excited to try it. I also ordered the tortilla soup. When the food came out, the soup was slopped all over the plate. The bun on the burger was so wet I couldn’t pick it up. Did I mention the soup was COLD! I REALLY wanted this place to be good. The manager came over and acted like it was an issue when I sent it back. Needless to say, I’d say pass.

Food was fine. Service was quick. Took it to go and shouldn’t have, but that’s not their fault that I ordered something messy. The ingredients were basic but nothing wrong with it.

The atmosphere is happy, and music often has my feet dancing under the table. The servers and managers are great. There’s plenty of room for large groups, and the food is great. When I started a low-carb program for my health and asked to leave off rice and beans, they offered me grilled zucchini to try, and it was great!

The wait staff were very good. She took very good care of me and my homeboy. The food was very good. A bit pricey and very proud of wine based drinks. I had the cheese enchiladas and they were very good. Ty sargentos for exceptional service and a great meal.
