A friend of mine recommended this place and so we went there and got the CHICKEN WINGS AND THEY WERE GREAT TOOK SOME HOME FOR MY WIFE AND BOUGHT SOME FOR MY PASTOR ABOUT 20 FOR HIS FAMILY AND HIS FAMILY LOVED THEM also went back bought more and we had the meat loaf dinner and it was really good and bought more CHICKEN WINGS TO BRING HOME FOR LATER AND PICKED UP SOME FOR THE PASTOR AND HIS FAMILY

Got the Big Daddy with fries and coleslaw. This burger is HUGE and delicious! The patty was perfectly cooked and juicy, the toppings were fresh and crisp, and the toasty French bread bun had a tasty hint of garlic butter. Delicious! Definitely will be coming back!

Some of the nicest people you will ever meet and the worst part of visiting is deciding what you order since everything I’ve tried is awesome. With plans to get a double cheeseburger I noticed fried chicken on the menu and was not disappointed. As a fried chicken conusuer I thought it was crispy, juicy, and delicious. I only get to visit Oquawka a few times a year and a trip to Mama’s will always be part of my plan for the incredible food and for the amazing staff ❤️

Great place, all the tables and chairs are old all wood dining room table sets. Menu is nice, not overly complicated.
Had the chicken fried steak l(it was kinda small, but really good) entree, comes with a baked potato, salad bar(which has a ton of extras, pepper rings, pepperoni, cheeses, dressings, a couple pasta salads, pudding and oreo fluff.
Service was excellent,even for being slow with only a few diners at the place
I’ll definitely have to go back.

A group of us drove 35 miles and got there at 1 p.m. and there were cars there, but the doors were all locked.
We were disappointed as the other reviews looked good. So we had to try another restaurant in town.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Have a fantastic huge room to rent for any occasion! Also the owners try to do fun stuff for the kids. They have outdoor movies and had a cookie party that I’ve personally attended. Specials everyday and don’t miss out on steak nights.
