Pizza Joe’s on Highland Ave. in New Castle, PA is the second Pizza Joe’s location! It’s been on the north side of the city for more than 35 years.

Ordered take out pizza from Joe’s, and it was the best pizza I had in the area so far. The crust was a little thicker than I like but was still very good. I prefer a thin, crispy crust, and while this crust had some crispiness, it was still thicker and chewie than what I get in the Midwest. This seems to be a regional difference.
The sauce is very tasty with a bit of a tang to it but not overpowering. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the cheese was good as well.
We had a Hawaiian and a Joe’s special. The Hawaiian had really good ham/Canadian bacon (not sure), and the added real bacon crumbled on top elevated it to a higher level than most Hawaiian pizzas.
Price was very reasonable at under $20 for the 2 pizzas. Service was very good as the pizzas were hot out of the oven and ready to go upon arrival at the designated pick up time.

Came in for the first time for lunch today. The food is really good, I got a 2 slice plus a drink lunch special and tried the Pepperoni and the Poor Man’s vegetarian. Both were very good! Perfect amount of sauce and toppings. The Poor man’s is a banana pepper, tomato and cheese pizza and I really enjoyed it! The crust was light and crunchy! You get a large drink which is self serve. The staff was very friendly, helpful as well as fast! Would absolutely recommend this establishment!

I ordered 2 large pizza’s, a chicken sub and a 2 liter. One cheese pizza and one pepperoni pizza. 12 square slices each. The service was great. The girl answering the phone was kind. The food was ready when promised and it was hot. The chicken sub had lettuce, tomato, and mayo and the bun was toasted perfectly. Definitely recommend.

The location is run down. Yet, when I entered the store for pickup, I felt this place was well cared for and reasonably clean. This is delivery quality pizza, but I would give it a B. The wings were exceptional. Right amount of sauce and the chicken quality was good.

Every time I am in town I look forward to Pizza Joe’s. Seriously best pizza I’ve had in the area. Amazing. I gotta get two every time, so listen up because these are the two I highly recommend: Buffalo Chicken Pizza and the Veggie Pizza. I was skeptical about the veggie at first (as one should be about Broccoli on anything) but man was it good!

Doors locked when I arrived, so I could only use pickup window for previously placed orders. Chose not to park, call in to place order, and then sit in parking lot until order was ready for pickup to then have to wait in drive through line again.

the people who work there are a joke they didn’t cut my pizza so i went in and asked for them to cut it and he said he did but it melted back together? like what never heard of that and then he goes back and tells people to recut it and then starts making jokes about me and laughing with the girls in the back a little skinny dude idk but they should be fired

Always great pizza, along with apps, calzones, and more. Their chicken pizzas are the best around (barbeque, buffalo, and – my favorite – sweet honey hot). They also make a great veggie pizza. If you’re looking for pizza, can’t go wrong at Joe’s!

Well… the food is good but service is atrocious. I usually never leave a bad review but I had to after what just happened. I asked the dude with the rolly fingers stache for a bag and he got an attitude then just laid the bag on the counter. Businesses should atleast bag items for a customer right? Hey maybe im nuts but my money will go to every other pizza place in town now.
