Family owned barn and grill wonderful place for friends and even strangers like myself. Who begin to fit in and make new friends. I really enjoy meeting the owner and his son and his extended family. This is a wonderful place to go and have a quiet drink with a friend or come by yourself. And make a new friend like I did. Also ask about the catfish it is the greatest you’ll ever have!

Been coming here for years and I have to say some of the nicest staff you’ll see anywhere. All my friends and bar buddies come here. It’s the place to be for a casual drink. They have pool as well. If you’re traveling and reading this it’s definitely a neighborhood kinda bar stop by.

This place is decent for a little neighborhood pub. The bathroom is way to small and usually smells bad. They don’t consistently have my brand of beer, and it would be great if they would get draft beer. Their prices are about average. The bartender we had was pleasant and stayed busy. The crowd is nice, mainly blue collar workers. There are pool tables, a dart board and a roller golf game. The place definitely needs to be bigger, with better parking.

Five stars but never again, some bartenders are great, there, Some are ridiculous and extremely rude when they drink. Enough said, definitely not the “Disney World” of the bar industry. Stay away if you can!!!!!

Wasn’t there long, but it seems like a fun place. Stopped in on a Monday evening and there was a decent crowd of happy people. You don’t find that at many bars nowadays.

My son and I stopped in Johnny D’s Bar and Grill last week to celebrate my buying a new vehicle and his closing on the sale of his new home in Southern Indiana. These two events happened within an hour of each other. My son recommended that we stop at this little bar – a bar where he knew the owner. We toasted each other on our new purchases. It was the perfect place to take a few minutes before going our separate ways.
