GROSS!!! Not only was the food TERRIBLE, it WAS NOT prepared to order like the name “The Kitchen” would infer. If I could give this place zero starts, I would. I ordered Bourbon Chicken and the chicken was so HARD, it looked and felt as if it had been sitting on a counter for HOURS before it was served to me. The bourbon sauce would not even absorb into the chicken. The pot stickers were FULL of unnecessary grease and had been sitting as well. I’m a food connoisseur and I can tell when it’s been freshly prepared.
I returned my order because it was a complete waste of time and good money. They didn’t want to refund my money the same day with a receipt! The first lady that took my order called to another lady in the back who was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful when I declined to have her remake my order. She went so far as to say to the other lady, “Get her receipt so she can get out!” I remained respectful as she argues with me to try to convince me to let her remake my food to change my mind in front of new customers. Who would be silly enough to let someone with a HATEFUL attitude prepare anything for them a second time? She needs a lesson in professionalism and in Asian Cooking!
HELP! North County doesn’t need another restaurant with terrible food and WORSE customer service. Plus, the refund was weird; it was if they are recording your transactions in their phone ledger. I’m so glad I didn’t just keep the food because this experience gave me the opportunity to see how much they don’t value hard working customers in their community.

Super sweet people that work at The Kitchen! Everything was super good but the Cantonese fried rice was definitely my favorite. The beef in the Vietnamese shaking beef was super tender and the boneless hot braised chicken was crispy. I will definitely be going back! For those that want to eat there just know that there are only 2 tables so you may not be able to eat there

New place in Florissant. I had the pleasure of visiting here last Saturday with my father. The inside is quaint with seating for about four different parties. The staff was amazing and attentive to give recommendations. We tried several different items on the menu. The portions are just right. I will say I was very impressed with their spring rolls. I seldom find places that actually put fresh pieces of mint inside. When I make these at my house I do the same thing, so that really left the mark with me in a very positive way. I will definitely be trying other items on their menu and hope nothing but their success. We need more small businesses in Florissant.

Tried this place for the first time. Been craving some bourbon chicken. Highly disappointed. The white rice was dry and lumpy. The bourbon chicken was dry and VERY tough. The bourbon sauce was runny, like water.
The only salvageable item were the tossed garlic fried wings. Wasn’t the best but at least they were edible. Highly disappointed in the overall experience.

One of, if not the absolutely best contemporary and traditional chinese restaurants I’ve ever had. The general zho’s chicken was well coated and sticky with a great crunch. The lo mein was perfectly cooked with a great coating. I love the pork egg rolls and the sweet and sour soup. the egg rolls are stuffed full with great spices and the sweet and sour soup is exactly that, none of that watered down nonsense. My wife loves the crab rangoon. Full of flavor and not overly sweet. The kids love the special fried rice, which is fantastic. It has a great assortment of everything they offer while keeping the rice perfectly cooked. It’s a bit of a drive from the central corridor, but worth it every time!

This was great! Everything I ordered was hot, fresh, and tasty. Pictured is the vegetable fried rice and the veggies were nice and tender. Rice was cooked through and it wasn’t overly salty. The hot braised fish was good, saucy, and wasn’t overly spicy. A must have is there honey pineapple bites (I can’t remember the actual name of them) but they are on the dessert tab and they are bomb! Fried pineapple, dipped in honey, sprinkled with sesame seeds…yes! Mouth watering!!!! My whole house was begging for more. Along with the sweet donuts…The kitchen cannot lose! Keep up the good work

Kristen was soo sweet and attentive! Intimate, clean, fast service. If you like the spot house, this is better! I’ve never had fresher crab rangoons in my life and the pho was perfection after a rough day I wanted to cry. I could actually taste ginger in the sauce for the crab rangoons. This food was a gift so fresh, and healing.

The Kitchen has become an instant favorite! Some of the best Thai cuisine that I’ve had since my last trip to DC. I ordered the Thai Curry Noodles. The flavor was uniquely complex yet balanced. I’ll definitely be having dinner here on a regular basis. Great food and even better service!

I was very tired and didn’t want to drive 30 mins away for good Pho. So I took a chance and ordered the Vietnamese beef Pho noodle soup with extra meatballs via Uber eats, and I must say I’m TOTALLY AMAZED!!! The food was piping hot, came fast, good presentation and it taste fresh, so AWESOME!!! I had no idea I could get great Pho so close to my home! The meat was so tender and good!!! I absolutely love this place and will most definitely become a regular!!! My thanks to The Kitchen, please keep up the great work!
