Half of what we ordered didn’t come out even after we asked the waitress about it…
The food was terrible!!
My salad had mushy canned tomatoes on it. My burger had absolutely no flavor not even salt. The Tomatoes were completely flavorless on the burger.
The NY steak was abismal. Half of the steak was just inedible fat. Everything was on the burnt side.

This was a nice surprise, the food was good and cook was extra pleasant. We both got white fish. My husband got the white fish dinner which started with a huge side salad that was big enough to share. The fish was cooked perfect and had a wonderful flavor. The rice pilaf was good as well. I had the fish and chips but instead of fries I got a stuffed baked potato. It was the same fish but tasted completely different cooked two different ways. Fish and chips tasty and very enjoyable. The stuffed baked potato was huge and enough for two people. The cook Charles did a great job with everything and came out and had a nice conversation with us about our food.

During a long haul we made a rest stop expecting not a whole lot and were pleasantly surprised by the Thanksgiving meal that was offered. Super cheap and tasty with a waitress that was both waiting and helping the kitchen out. Thank you for providing a holiday meal during our travels!

Is this another Country Pride about to go out of business? The one in Wheat Ridge, Colorado was getting worse and worse and sure enough, they were closed for good the last time we were there. This place is bring back reminders of that location.
Only one server at an interstate location. They are busy and barely able to keep up and slow. Food is way overcooked to burnt. Hot tea is anything but hot. More like lukewarm tea. Our soup didn’t show up at all.
So here’s the deal. We got off the interstate to grab dinner gas and a quick bite. That was 90 minutes ago and we still don’t have our soup. Nothing quick about this bite. My chicken strips are partially ok but burnt in some places. Hubby’s chopped steak (or whatever they call it these days) didn’t come with the mushrooms that are supposed to be on the smaller plate and part of why he ordered that particular plate instead of the larger one. His green beans were burnt as was his steak. We haven’t been able to tell our one friendly waitress because she’s so busy that we haven’t seen her since she promised to bring our soup.
They charge way too much for this type of food and service. I feel bad for her because she’s probably not going to have a job much longer. I fully expect the Country Pride brand to be completely gone all over any time now. This also sucks for the truck drivers.

We stopped in for a bite to eat.
It took 10 minutes for her to come back and get our order,
There’s no fries.
25 more minutes for our (my meal) , and it was way smaller than it should be.
The saving grace for this place was, that the server took $5 off of the meal because she realized that the portion was small too.
I used the $5 to get 2 hotdogs.

They keep bankers hours, open from 8 until 6. No dinner service. No breakfast service. After driving all day I just get the usual excuse: good help is hard to find.

Everything was very good. I was surprised about the side salad, was very nice (see pic), and my 20 yr old loved the chicken parmesean sandwich! The double hamburger was quite good too.

They had steaks on special tonight, so I got the 16 oz Ribeye. I’m not too picky on how it is done, provided it is somewhere between Medium to Medium Well. I do not like it dry, but it came out dry, and brown, and it was tough. I wondered why it was taking so long to come out, well this is why. After this, I went to the salad bar to drown it Italian Dressing so it had some juice. To be honest, it was not good, although the flavor was decent. They have been running a deal where when you buy 6 meals the 7th is free. This was my free one, so that is why it gets 3 stars. Otherwise it would have been 2. Mostly because they have only 1 waitress right now, so it was quite sluggish for service, sadly.
