Ate here for the first time. We ordered the Sarsa MNL Lechon Chicken and the BBQ Plate. The food was definitely flavorful and delicious. Not the traditional style Filipino food that you’d find at a hole-in-the-wall. We also got the combo which comes with a drink and a side of tiny lumpias and some salt/vinegar shrimp chips. Overall, pretty pricy and not worth the price you pay. The food is pretty flavorful and the portions aren’t bad or anything, I just don’t think it’s worth the price.

Staff are friendly. Lots of tables to dine at to include the rest of the food court. The fountain drink machine is near one of the front doors. The parking lot is small and tight so I wouldn’t bring a huge truck in here. The gate automatically lets you in, but you can pay on your way out and they don’t validate here.

My husband and I only ordered one meal because I “wasn’t that hungry” (a lie I told myself). That one meal was SO DAMN GOOD I briefly considered walking into the kitchen to personally thank the chef like they saved my life.
The steak??? PERFECTLY cooked. PERFECTLY seasoned. Adding A1 sauce or anything else would be straight-up disrespectful. The chef who cooked that steak knows exactly what the hell they’re doing and I trust them with my future.
AND THE FRIES.
OMG. THE FRIES.
Crispy. Golden. Just the right amount of salt. Not too much, not too little. The Goldilocks of fries. I would 100% go back just for the fries.. but let’s be real, I’d “accidentally” order the steak again too.
10/10. Highly. HIGHLY. Recommended.
Come hungry. Come respectful. Don’t insult the steak.

The tofu was some of the best tofu I have ever had. It was super thin and crispy. It was served with a orangish sauce that was very acidic. Maybe a little too acidic with the pickled veggies.

The wait time was about 25 minutes, which would’ve been fine if the food had been good—but unfortunately, the lumpia came out raw. The filling was still pink and undercooked, which made it really disappointing after waiting so long. The staff was polite, but the food quality and preparation need serious improvement.

We came here twice two days in a row because we enjoyed it so much! I am from the Philippines but I live in an area now that has zero Filipino food options. I’m in Houston for work and really craving Filipino food. I got the bbq sampler platter with pork bbq, chicken bbq skewer and lechon. They all tasted great and the meat quality/flavor was perfect. I only wished there was a bit more lechon. The atchara is a non traditional type made with red cabbage but it complemented the dish nicely.

The second time we got Bangus Silog and it was good but the bangus was a bit small/wasn’t marinated. Overall it scratched the itch but $16 was a bit steep on what you get for the dish. I would’ve liked some tomato with this dish instead of atchara. The lumpia is good and I love the sauce that comes with it. I’m really glad this is here at Post! It does feel like Filipino food is starting to get more recognized.

It would be nice to see pancit on the menu! A side dish like this would go really well with the ulam.

Update: restaurant has gotten lazy. They no longer tie the tofu into knots, they just fold it up.. somehow it has lost its appeal.

The vegan tofu skin dish is absolutely delicious and you must try. It comes with a side of Jasmine rice and pickled cabbage. The flavor of the tofu skin is kind of like a tangy barbecue. It really is just a perfect combination of flavors and I will absolutely be back.

I was excited to get egg rolls and ended up being dissapointed and dissatisfied! The egg rolls was double fried! It was super dry. Won’t be back here anymore! It’s too pricey to get served with awful food!

What a treat to find a Filipino restaurant that offers a vegan option. The bbq tofu skin skewers were out of this world. I’m definitely looking forward to visiting again soon.

We ordered the Bangus breakfast special. The food and location were good. The only reason why I put three stars, it is too pricey in my opinion. I could eat in a buffet at that price of what I ordered. The rice portion was also small.

Also, I have to pay for parking here which I think is an added cost.
