We were looking for a spot to grab a bite after the Tide put a whooping on Vandy, and this was one of the few places away from the stadium with open seating. We were seated quickly and decided to try the Meat Lovers and Chicken Alfredo pizzas, both were excellent! The only problem was that every time a server walked by with another dish, we found ourselves wishing we’d ordered that too.
All in all, everything we saw looked delicious, and everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their meals. Definitely worth a try!

As an NY’er and Italian I was very skeptical when my daughter found this “Italian restaurant” in Tuscaloosa! Let me tell you if you’re craving Italian food while in Tuscaloosa, definitely give this place a try. The calamari was delicious and cooked perfectly. My pizza was pleasantly crispy and delicious. My daughter had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken cutlets! I have to say the chicken cutlets were just as good as the Italian deli back home in NY! My only complaint for an Italian restaurant they did not have espresso or cappuccino, which I thought was a little bit strange for an Italian restaurants because that should be a staple but all in all we will definitely be back since she’s living here for the next several months.

I got the Calzone with Sausage, my wife got the Chicken with Vegetables, and it took longer than expected for them to get done. The reason, probably my Calzone as both were obviously cooked when ordered, not frozen and thawed out. Both were very hot and had good flavor. The reason for the 3 on atmosphere was our seating area felt a little like an after thought and the lighting was off. Also, the mens bathroom was hurting for a cleaning. However, the food was very good and worth the money.

We had a great experience this past Friday night. This was our first time visiting Milano’s and the staff and environment were great. We had a party of 8 and our food came out pretty quickly and the bread they gave us upon arrival was very fresh and unlimited. I would definitely recommend you give this a try if you’re in the mood for great Italian and a good time.

Not sure if my party visited on an off day, but today the marinara sauce was over loaded with black pepper. My wife and her friend were unable to eat their dishes due to the overwhelming black pepper. Red sauce pasta like spaghetti and meatballs is not supposed to be served spicy hot.
I ordered the chicken parm. In addition to the black pepper issue, the chicken was sliced so thin all I tasted was the bread crumbs, mozzarella, and the marinara. It was thinner than the space between my fork prongs. On a high note the restaurant looked amazing and the staff were all friendly and attentive. The prices were decent $64 for two lunch dishes, one appetizer, one side salad, and two sweet teas. Not sure if I will go back as there are better options available… If I do I will update my review.
My daughter and I tried lunch today. Again the spaghetti with meat balls was too spicy for her to eat. I tried the veal rossini which was bland, soggy, and chewy for veal. But the vegetable soup was really good. The service was also not great at the 2:30. We ordered got our dishes and did not see the waiter until it was time for our check. Best of wishes.

Servers were very friendly, atmosphere is great, very clean. It’s more American Italian than Italian. The shrimp pesto was pretty good, shrimp were great, good pesto sauce, needs a different noodle maybe. The pasta trio was more mozzarella than anything. You get 3 small pieces of each pasta, wasn’t really able to taste much difference other than the spinach one. Would not recommend. Spaghetti and meatballs was good, the meatballs were perfect. Their alfredo dipping sauce was delicious! Cheesesticks are not in house but good, bread was little rolls with seasonings but they were good. Overall good but don’t plan on going back any time soon.

A real surprise. We just wanted Italian and never have been to this place. Was almost empty at lunchtime but we had a great meal. Spaghetti Bolognese and chicken penne with vodka sauce. Great food y’all. Service was a little off but still they took care of us well.

If you like flavorless food go here. I ordered through door dash. The bread was burnt, it did had Parmesan sprinkled on top but it wasn’t butter good bread. The chicken Alfredo was watery and flavor less. The chicken was dry and unseasoned. The cheese ravioli tasted like medicine. Really disappointed based off of others reviews. Would not order from here again.

The service was great and the atmosphere was really nice! Fresh bread was brought to the table and it was clearly homemade (although it could use a little more salt).
We ordered 1 calzone and 1 stromboli. The calzone was fine! I made it a bite or two into the stromboli before I realized the inside was luke-warm. The shredded cheese below the top layer was still in shredded-form (not melted) and that wasn’t a huge deal to me. But then I realized after a few more bites that I was eating raw dough. The outside was nice and brown, but the inside was almost entirely raw. If I had to guess, it was cooked too quickly at a high temp.
I put the rest in a box and brought it home. After airfrying the leftovers, the cheese got nice and melty but the dough is still gooey and I had to toss it out. The second pic is after air frying it at home. I pinched the dough to try and show the texture – that’s not cheese.
I’m sure this was a one-off, but I’m still disappointed. I’ll get pasta next time and will update accordingly!

I can’t believe that I’ve never left a review! Sunday Jan.4, 2026 National Spaghetti Day. This is my third (?) visit but each has always been pleasant. The staff is friendly and the food is HOT. The portions aren’t huge but are enough for leftovers. I had spaghetti and meatballs, a pineapple mimosa, and a slice of lemoncello cake. The food is well seasoned and the flavors standout, nothing bland
