This place is the best! Outstanding customer service. I didn’t have cash as it was my first time here. The owner noticed I work as a first responder and offered to feed me free of charge. You don’t find people so willing to give back to their community in such a way anymore. I will be bringing my family here again for years to come. And the food was the best in the county!

I usually don’t post about things like this, but here I am posting. I was in a major bind because I didn’t have any tortillas or any lemon or hot sauce for my lunch at work and I work with older people in a living facility and they typically don’t have kitchens in their living accommodations so of course me being me and in a rush I completely forgot tortillas hot sauce and lemon with my lunch. I came by just on a whim to see if I can purchase said items and I was able to for a very small price and the lady was very sweet and I tried their cucumber lemon water and I’m going to be back just for that because I cannot get that anywhere else other than at the borderline. I highly recommend you come by and check it out

The prices are really good. I love the taste of the carne asada. Tortillas have the perfect texture. The service is polite and fast. Bring cash, it is a cash only restaurant. Compared to other offerings in Spring Valley, Don Jilberto’s is one of the best.

Shut it down. I ordered the steak and egg burrito. I repeated the order back to the young lady twice over the phone. I arrived and was informed that they were cash only. So I went to the liquor store atm two doors down and came back. After getting home I find the most subpar bacon and egg burrito on the west coast. Even my kid looked at it and said, “eww”. I was hungry so I ate about half before feeling sick to my stomach and going to the bathroom to vomit.

Been going here since I was a kid and it’s always good. The roll tacos are my favorite but I’ve tried most of the menu at this point and it’s all delicious. The beans and rice tastes amazing, best place for beans and rice!! I bring my friends and family and now I bring my kids. Best hole in the wall spot and remember, CASH ONLY

This place makes some tasty Mexican eats. I had a Chile Relleno Burrito with added rice for $8, and it was great.
The chile relleno inside was properly made and tasty. Both the rice and refried beans were fresh and very tasty.
The only thing I would like to see them do to their burritos would be to put the burrito on the hot griddles after rolling it to crisp up the flour tortilla.
Service was very friendly and their hot sauce was very good.
