The young man who served me today at 3:10 PM needs to be taught professionalism and respect. Accusing me of “getting my parties in a wad” when I asked to go one at a time with the subs is absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable, especially when I’m paying almost $50 for only 4 sandwiches… not impressed.

Normally I wouldn’t leave a negative review but I’m so sad in my spirit because I literally wasted $10.00 today. I wanted to grab a sandwich and have a picnic at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.
I ordered a vegetarian sub and requested the chipotle sauce on the side.
I was highly disappointed when I unwrapped the package. The bread was hard, cold, not room temperature but cold. It did not appear to have been freshly made today. It didn’t taste fresh.
The chipotle sauce was in the sandwich and not on the side as requested, and the sauce made part of the bread soggy and I absolutely HATE wet, soggy bread! That is why I asked for it on the side.
The bread that wasn’t soggy crumbled all over me with the few bites I took. I looked into the bag to grab a napkin… not ONE napkin was in the bag! I can’t make this up! I looked around for a candid camera, because this was insane.
Thank God, I carry hand wipes in my car so I was able to use that.
When I tell you I was over it! I balled up the wrapper and tossed the sandwich!
I will not go back to that location again!

1- 6 inch veggie, a footling club, 1 chip and 1 drink was damn near $30 and they don’t even know the correct way the flatbread is supposed to be made. It was made inside out which makes it gooey. I used to be a manager at subway and just wasn’t impressed with this location.
Update: I went back..months later. They still make the flatbread sandwich on the wrong side of the bread.
The bubbled side should be INSIDE.

6/23/24-TRAIN YOUR STAFF to TOAST THE FLATBREAD!
I worked at Subway. I was a manager for several years. Subway university tells you to toast the flatbread.
It’s not an option for toasted when you order online because per the formula, its supposed to be toasted.
I even ADDED to the COMMENTS section and it STILL WAS NOT toasted! So frustrating
Update: I tried it again, same ingredients requested ect as the first time..2nd picture is from today, this one “might” have been toasted but it was cold by the time I got it so ♀️ 8/31/24

The manager at this Subway in Lake Wylie is so nice, I ordered a big cookie tray. He took time to listen to what I needed.

Young girl making sandwiches was nice, but not very personable. She asked me what kind of cheese I wanted on my spicy nacho chicken sub, instead of telling me that it comes with cheddar cheese sauce. Then the grumpy, rude old man with the big piercings, told her to charge me for extra cheese. That’s not right. You don’t offer someone their choice of cheese and exclude one of the ingredients the sub comes with, then charge them extra to have the listed ingredient. I paid $38 for a rap for my wife and my sub, and two bags of chips and a drink. Subway used to be affordable, and used to have decent customer service. These people suck. Not going back.
